Trust. Its a small word with a big meaning. I wanted to build this practice based on that one word. I know for alot of people, finding a good dentist, one that you are comfortable with and can stay with for a lifetime is a big deal. I know this because I hear it everyday. Rest assured, this practice will be my lifes work. I will do everything I can to put you at ease. I will make recommendations as if it was my own dental health, or a family members. And know this: I'm not going anywhere for a long time. I will be here for you for decades to come.
Dr. Zirkle is passionate and enthusiastic about dentistry. In his spare time, he loves to travel with his wife and twin girls and also enjoys tackling household DIY projects. He grew up in South Lyon, Michigan, and then attended Michigan State University where he graduated with two Bachelors degrees. He furthered his studies at the University of Southern California, a world renowned dental school. While in school, he was influenced by some of the most respected dentists in the field. Dr. Zirkle started practicing dentistry in the Lansing area and moved on to practice at Howell Family Dentistry. While practicing there, he became proficient in endodontics and oral surgery. He believes in relationship-based, comprehensive care that is tailored to fit the lives and budget of his patients and is committed to providing you the highest quality treatment in a comfortable and caring environment. Dr. Zirkle hopes to bring new technologies and services to the office including digital x-rays, implants, and impression-less crowns within the upcoming months. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Livingston District Dental Society.

Angie is amazing with my autistic son. His anxiety with the dentist has been calmed over the past visits. Yesterday his bottom teeth were cleaned; this is amazing progress. Angie is truly one of a kind.

I drive from Gaylord to Okemos Dental Care because I want the best. For those who find themselves uncomfortable with dental experiences, ODC is the place to visit. This is nothing like the "big-box" dental practices. Its family owned and they take care to make the environment warm and comforting, yet professional. There are big TVs you can watch while work is being done which helps you keep your mind off potentially being uncomfortable. Everything is super clean and new. Theyre great communicators and are happy to help with whatever you need and never get the "hard sell" on somthing you may not need

We were dreading, just dreading going to a new dentist and having crowns put on based on our last dentist in another state. Our initial consultation with Dr. Zirkle, Hannah and Donna put our fears at rest. Dr. Zirkle was compassionate, professional, and the whole team kept us informed of everything that was going on at all times. The office was super efficient, we literally walked in and were taken to the exam rooms immediately each time. We got our crown work today and neither of us felt a thing! Best dentist experience we have had in ages. Dr. Zirkle made sure with exquisite precision that we were not feeling any pain and if we felt anything, he stopped and loaded us up with lidocaine. They are transparent with all costs and submitted the insurance on their end. Wonderful, wonderful experience. We highly recommend!

Friendly staff. They were fully dressed in PPE which I appreciated in this time of Covid. The hygienist, Angela, was professional, explained what she was doing. Dr. Zerkle was friendly and patient, answered all my questions. They have a smooth process. I feel cared for and about.
