Okamoto Dentistry is a Pasadena based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. We are committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and do so using advanced dental equipment. We are a cosmetic dentist that offers services like checkups, teeth cleaning, crowns, veneers and more.
Dr. Geri grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona and moved in 1988 to attend University of California, San Diego (UCSD) where she earned a B.S. degree in Biology. She went on to graduate from University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1997. She is married to Dr. Okamoto's son Scott (a Writer) whom she met while at UCSD. They have three children: Ethan, Audrey and Owen. When not working, Dr. Geri enjoys fly-fishing, hiking, snow skiing and working on various home improvement projects, especially ones involving power tools. Dr. Geri also studied ballet for over 20 years and is currently learning how to play electric bass.
Dr. Bigley is a native of Southern California, growing up in Arcadia. He attended La Salle High School in Pasadena. He attended Loyola Marymount University and graduated with honors in Biology. Dr. Bigley graduated from the University of Southern California Dental School and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2013. Dr. Bigley has spent countless hours volunteering for the University of Southern Californias Mobile Dental Clinic, in which he provides comprehensive dental treatment and dental education to children in underserved areas. He was the 2013 recipient of the Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Future Award for his outstanding efforts to improve the oral health of Inner-city Children in Los Angeles. He has also spent time volunteering at the John Wesley Community Health Center in Los Angeles, providing comprehensive dental treatment to the homeless community. In his spare time, Chris can be found on the golf course. He is also an avid runner and regularly participates in Marathons and trail races.
Dr. Jessie Yang lived in Taipei, Washington, D.C., and New York City before making Los Angeles her second home. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University, and Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University. Committed to furthering her knowledge and skills in all aspects of dentistry, she completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Los Angeles and was distinguished as a chief resident.
Dr. Yang provides compassionate, personalized care for her patients by getting to know her patients needs, taking the time to develop individualized treatment plans, and doing everything she can to ensure a comfortable visit. She is passionate about creating beautiful and healthy smiles through patient education and incorporation of the latest technology. She is a certified Invisalign provider, and an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Laser Dentistry, American Academy of Clear Aligners, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and San Gabriel Valley Dental Society.

I neglected my dental health over the pandemic and really didn't want to go back to my previous dentist because I knew they would lay a big guilt trip on me. I was recommended to Okamoto Dentistry by a good friend and I can't say enough good things. I see Dr. Bigby and he is just wonderful. I had to have two cavities filled and he managed to make the process absolutely painless. Everyone else in the office, from the staff at the front desk to the hygienists, is wonderful as well. I don't dread the dentist anymore!

Okamoto is a wonderful practice. Recommended by a friend. In addition I recommend Aya. She is a competent, funny and gracious Dental Hygienist. If you want the best, check out Okamoto.

The team at Okamoto Dentistry is without parallel in my experience of dental care. They stay current with science and safety protocols, they invest in their practice and in their patients' health and well being, and the service experience they create is second to none. I have been a patient there for 24+ years and have recommended them to friends, family, clients and colleagues and always they have received rave reviews and I have received expressions of appreciation for the healthcare tip. I have been going to Okamoto Dentistry in Pasadena for a few years now. They were recommended to me by a friend. Everyone is always very polite and friendly, and I have felt very safe during the pandemic with the protocols they have in place. I highly recommend this dentistry group.

The hygienist make sure you wash your hands before and after your cleaning. She made sure you put your mask on after the treatment. She is very professional and makes you feel comfortable and safe in the appointment. They are the best for all your dental care.
