Over the past 15 years, dentistry has given me the perfect balance with my professional and personal life. Most of my patients who come to see me for the first time have experienced dental anxiety, and I pride myself on the fact that by the time they leave, they are no longer afraid of the dentist. I like interacting with my patients, not only by providing dentistry in a caring and comfortable manner, but also by discussing in detail how to maintain their dental health so that they can retain their own teeth for a lifetime. A firm believer in providing quality care, Dr. Afshan Sultan went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to complete her Advanced Education in General Dentistry after completing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Since then, Dr. Sultan has completed over 500hours of continuing education courses to keep up with the latest advancements in dental technology. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Ohio Dental Association. Dr.Sultan became one of America's Top Dentist in 2016 and recieved the Emerging Athena Award for her encouragement of Women in the local community.
When Dr. Sultan is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her three children, the youngest of whom is fouryears old. Her hobbies include playing tennis and reading. She is also active in the community and involved with ensuring quality education for children.

Let me start by saying I hate the dentist ...BUT the doctor there is so calm and she tends to ease my anxiety! She explains everything in the beginning that way I know what to expect. They gave a list of all things I needed done with the prices. It allow me to pick what to have done to stay within my budget.

I mean it's the dentist which is never pleasant but 5 star all the way. The staff was very friendly and explained everything perfectly. Dr. Doug and Allison especially. Don't hesitate to make an appointment!

Great caring people here. I actually switched from Stone Creek Dental in Pickerington. The reason I switched was because I always had to wait too long because of they constantly overbooked. I also felt like I was treated similarly to my husband and daughter who were always called ahead of me and appointments completed in a short amount of time. I also received strange text messages that were addressed to my daughter instead of to me. I asked the office staff to update this repeatedly but they kept sending me messages, long afterwards. Finally I just stopped going because I felt they didn't really care. I can tell the staff at Ohio Family Dentistry cares about what they do. I'll be back for more appointments.

My family and I have been going to here for quite some time & have never wanted to go anywhere else! They have always been so good to their patients and we have never left unsatisfied! They go above and beyond everytime, just this last month I was having lots of issues with my own scheduling and was having to miss appointments, ext but they were always able to get me rescheduled, sometimes even the next day! Definitely recommend! 10/10!!

This office is great from the second you walk through the door. Sarah & April at the front desk always welcome you with a hello. Megan & Allison are always quick to get me back into a room with little to no wait, and always explain every little detail of anything that I need taken care of. Courtney was very gentle with cleaning my teeth, and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Sultan is fantastic and I am please that I transferred to start seeing her. I'm so glad she recommended a night guard for me, I should have gotten one sooner. 10/10

This was my first time at Ohio Family Dentistry after trying multiple other dentists and I have to say it was a great experience! The front desk staff was very polite, the waiting area was extremely clean and open, the assistant Megan was very nice and explained absolutely everything they were doing or going to do so there was no question what was going on. The hygienist Courtney was very professional and gentle with her exam and cleaning and Dr. Sultan was such a pleasure to meet and explained throughly her thoughts and recommendations. I am happy to say this is my new family dentist!

I was very happy with my visit as a new patient. I recently moved to Pickerington and hadn't switched my dentist from across town. The office is very clean and modern. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Dr Sultan did my exam and clearly explained what she saw. The cost for the work I need done was explained and my out of pocket costs clearly identified, which was nice. So far I'm very pleased with my choice to change my dental needs here.

My wife and I had a good experience with Ohio Family Denistry. The staff was very attentive with making sure all of our dental needs were taken care of. We just moved to the area & are glad that we found a dentist that cares about their patients well being.
