Extremely rude! After promising to send in request for authorization of services in a timely manner and not doing that, I then get attitude on the phone from the man that takes phone calls (who is also the owner). When I try to explain why I'm upset and insist on him checking in the computer whether my approval has been received, he simply hangs up on me! This is no way to speak to your clients and handle situations! How do they expect people to want to come back to them after this? I will 100% go to the office to complain personally. I was considering paying for the services that have not been approved (I only got partial approval) but after this, I will not give them a dime of my money. P.S.- when I came in for my appointment prior to this, I waited for over an hour after my scheduled appointment time. My back was hurting so much from sitting in the chair for that long and as I was about to leave, the doc walked in.

I'm very disappointment with Shalom Dental, Brooklyn NY. The office took over a month and a half to submit my claim/paperwork to the insurance company for my root canal to find out what they would cover. Dr. Ohevshalom said they would call me once they heard back from my insurance company, but I didn't get a call, and started to follow up with them. Every time I called the office I would get the run around and be told something different each time. The office staff is completely unprofessional, rude and quite argumentative. Even though I told them I was in pain and discomfort they still didn't submit it on time, and tried to cover their tracks by changing the date the claim/paperwork was supposedly sent each time I called her office. The office staff lied and tried to blame my insurance company for the delay in response, when in fact, I find out that my claim wasn't submitted right away like it should have been. Dr. Ovevshalom's office only seems to care about money. I find that Dr. Ohevshalom did shoddy work on a previous root canal she did for me a few months ago. I still to this day have trouble eating on that side. I feel like an extra piece was put between my two teeth. I can feel something there which is extremely uncomfortable and feels like plastic, and when I went to see Dr. Ohevshalom she looked in my mouth, and basically said, "No there isn't anything there." She did a quick look at it, and basically brushed it off. She gave the impression as if she could care less. I am now looking for a new dentist. I want to go to a dental office where they actually care about their patients. A place where they don't lie to their patients. A place where the office staff doesn't argue and get rude with their patients. A place where the staff isn't unprofessional. A place that doesn't ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY!!!! The lack of professionalism at Dr.Ohevshalom's (Shalom Dental,) is a disgrace. They should be ashamed of themselves. Patients always should come first and be tried like the are welcomed to be there. The minute I walked through the door, and walked up to the front desk, I got the impression that I wasn't wanted/welcomed there. I used to work in the medical profession, and we would never treat our patients that way. The front desk staff isn't friendly or welcoming. It's like you just bothered them because you came into this office. The minute you walk through the front door, you can basically see the $$$ signs in the man's eyes at the front desk.

Was by two different dentists having major tooth pain both said they need to take out the tooth and do a root cancel, then I went to this doctor and she said it was a differnt tooth causing my pain, I asked her to pull it and all the pain was gone I would have lost two teeth with these other dentists.. She saved the day this dentist thanks
