Dr. Reem S. Shafi, CEO, Two Rivers Dental is the epitome of modern dentistry. She received her dental degree in 1998 and is a proud alumna of the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. After her graduation, she relocated to Chicago, IL and opened her first dental practice by 2004. During that year of running her own practice, Dr. Shafi realized she had much more potential and decided to open a second practice. Now, a decade later, Dr. Shafi owns several practices, all of which are located in and around the Chicago area. Her company now employs over 140 employees and 30 dentists.
During the course of her professional career, Dr. Shafi has won numerous awards including her induction into Temple University Fox School of business League for Entrepreneurial Women Hall of Fame for the year 2013.
Dr. Peterson specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and treats a wide variety of patients of all ages. He has been placing dental implants since 1987, has extensive experience in implantology, and has successfully treated many dental implant patients throughout Chicagoland.
Dr. Peterson graduated with a degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School. He furthered his training and education through a program focused in Anesthesiology, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Cook County Hospital College of Surgery.
Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His hobbies include traveling, tennis, skiing and the outdoors. Dr. Peterson also practices law and teaches at a university.
Dr. Virji is originally from Toronto, Canada, where she found a passion for orthodontics since the age of 13. After receiving her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Dr. Virji went on to earn her DMD degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, IL in 2017. Dr. Virji then began practicing general dentistry for 1 year in Toronto before returning to Chicago and pursuing orthodontics at UIC Orthodontic Program. Dr. Virjis dedication for her profession led to her winning 3rd Place Nationwide for the 2021 Dr. William R. Proffit Resident Scholar Award while at UIC. While Dr. Virji practices orthodontics full time, she also works as part time faculty at the University of Illinois Chicago Orthodontic Department.
Dr. Virji is passionate about all areas of orthodontics, but shes especially interested in the advanced technologies that orthodontics is moving toward. Focusing on advanced technologies allows Dr. Virji to provide her patients with the best experience and results.

I have been going to Ogden Valley Dental for the past 5+ years and have had much-needed dental work. It's become my second home, but I love that the office staff is always friendly, making going to the dentist and orthodontist enjoyable, which helps with dental procedures. Although I still have to finish my retainer routine, my teeth look lovely, and I love my new smile after braces.

Katie is very knowledgeable, professional, and patient. I am a handicapped person and she treats me even more carefully. Every time I go to see her, I always feel so relaxed and very conformable during my session. She is always doing great job and I am very impressed by her skills. I will refer her to my friends and relatives if they ask, and I will definitely stay with her as long as I can. Thanks Katie !!!

My 8 yr old broke her front tooth and we needed to be seen on an urgent basis. Our regular dentist was unavailable and that turned out to be the best thing possible. They were professional, clean, skilled, and talented. We are going to Dr. ******** from now on! My daughter isn't scared of the dentist any more!

The hygienist, Katie, was amazing! I have a very small mouth, and she gave me helpful tips to keep my teeth as clean as possible. I also had some difficulty with the x-rays. The technician was very helpful and patient!

Yesterday have in appointment for my 2 girls ,im like the assisted to the doctor , im like the doctor too,his is very frenly and very nice doctor, his explains all above my older daughter because month ago I'm have rutin Clean and other office dental ,and don't tell me,anything wy my daughter have cavity and hired the doctor tell me right way,what's going on, so I'm happy because im faun better dental place,thanks you Ogden dental

Left me with a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended). Seriously though, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. They stated my daughter has 3 cavities and my wife needs 2 root canals. We got a second opinion and it turns out 0 cavities for my daughter and 0 root canals for my wife. They also cancelled appointments on my wife and I last minute several weeks apart stating the doctor was in a car accident on the way in each time. Once I could see, but twice in 30 days, I'm not buying it. They also cancelled appointments without an excuse just stating the doctor isn't available. When I told them I would not be returning they didn't even ask why, they just said oh ok no problem and that was it. Do yourself and your mouth a favor and find another dentist.

I've been a patient at Ogden Valley Dental for years now. My husband used to go elsewhere but continued to run into issues. His appointments were constantly being canceled by his dental office. I told him that I never have problems with my dentist, and I receive scheduling emails that I can directly add to my calendar along with confirmation texts and phone calls which is great because otherwise I'd forget! He switched to Ogden Valley and continues to be a patient there. He no longer deals with cancellations and is happy there. Even though I don't mind going to the dentist and am not afraid of needles or getting any kind of work done, the doctor always takes care in telling me what she is going to do beforehand as well as during the procedure. She is also great at reassuring me both before she starts and during the procedure. She makes me feel very comfortable. At my last appointment, I was running 20 minutes late and figured I'd have to reschedule. They were able to still get me in! In addition, I had to have a somewhat major procedure done and the dentist was able to start that same day instead of having to schedule another appointment. Also, I was cold in the office as I was dressed for the gym (running late) and they brought me one of those coats they wear to help keep me warm. The staff are all really friendly, helpful and down to earth. I always enjoy my visits with them and will continue to be a patient at Ogden Valley Dental as long as I am in the area.

I recently had my first of many to come experiences with Ogden Valley Dental. Went in for a repair of some very old dental work. Everything about Ogden Dental was what I'd hoped for and more. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Dr. Azimi is an amazing and skilled dentist! I was in and out within an hour with repairs made, and a dental plan to move forward with. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Azimi!

I got in in a timely manner, the assistant did good at taking x-rays and getting a mold and the dentist was very thorough in determining the root cause of my sensitivity. I am confident that his prescription will resolve my issue.
