Dr. Joan Yoo has been practicing dentistry for more than a decade and has extensive training in many areas of general dentistry. In the early years of her career, Dr. Yoo performed extensive oral surgeries including full mouth extractions and emergency trauma cases. Dr. Yoo now focuses more on restorative treatment with an emphasis on Minimally Invasive Dentistry.
In addition to her comprehensive training as a general dentist, Dr. Yoo is a perfectionist in her restorative dentistry, and is also highly skilled in root canal treatments and Invisalign. She also enjoys seeing young patients.
Dr. Yoo studied at the Ohio State University for both undergrad and dental school. Even though she had to support herself financially and only enrolled in school part time her freshman year, she received early admission into dental school and was one of the youngest to graduate in her class.
Dr. Monica Moon grew up in the Northern Virginia area, having graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST) and then from University of Virginia (UVA). At UVA, Dr. Moon graduated with honors , majoring in both Chemistry with a Biology specialization and also Psychology. Dr. Moon then graduated with multiple honors from University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Dr. Moon has an easy going approach to patients and friends alike, paired with a great sense of humor. While her demeanor is very pleasant, her passion and dedication to top notch dentistry is constant.

Just called to book an appointment and checked to see if they accept our dental insurance. The receptionist who picked up the phone seems cold and impolite. Unfortunately they didn't accept our dental insurance. You know, even if they do, I will NOT be going there.

What a bunch of amazing caring, and skilled individuals. I can't imagine getting this level of care anywhere else. Not only is the atmosphere always relaxed and cheerful -- they really go the extra mile to help. My jr. high school aged kid puked right outside their office today and they were amazing at helping me get both kids out to the car and home where I could care for them. Thank you!!!

Good visit. Great report. Friendly, courteous, professional hygienist cleaned my teeth and did X-Rays. Dr. Walker checked me out and said that I was good for another six months.

Very professional and well-organized. Went in for a brief examination of a problem tooth. New patient, but they got me in within 24 hours. Examination determined a plan to address the issue. Very pleased with experience and will definitely make them my new dentist. Subsequent visits for multiple crowns, cleanings, etc., have been equally positive experiences. Friendly staff. Always explains each procedure thoroughly.
