Its important to seek an office that will educate you and/ or your child, that will take the time to see you at every visit, and answer your questions and concerns along the process towards creating a healthy and happy smile.
Dr. Odhner was born the third of four children and raised in a suburb of Northern Virginia where she attended Centreville High School. She was a student-athlete throughout her schooling and was even recruited to pole vault on Virginia Techs NCAA Division 1 Track and Field Team. At Virginia Tech, Dr. Odhner went on to finish Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in Science.
After college, Dr. Odhner was working in an orthodontic office outside Washington, DC where she specifically recalls helping fix the teeth of a young girl who was being bullied at school for her smile. As she watched the girls personality transform and her confidence build while her teeth were straightened, Dr. Odhner knew she had found her calling!
The decision to make a career in family orthodontics led Dr. Odhner to the esteemed University of Florida, College of Dentistry where she graduated in the top 10% of her class, with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. During her senior year, she was one of two students chosen to complete an Advanced Education Honors Certificate in Orthodontics. Throughout her dental school training, Dr. Odhner volunteered to spend three of her spring breaks on service trips using the skills she had learned to provide free dental care to underprivileged communities in the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Ecuador. She was also elected to become a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society where members are chosen based on their excellence in scholarship while demonstrating exemplary traits of character.
After dental school, Dr. Odhner was ecstatic to return closer to family in order to complete an additional two year Orthodontic Residency training at Temple University. She earned a specialty Certificate in Orthodontics, as well as her Masters in Science degree. Dr. Odhner is now a teaching faculty at Temple University where she lectures to current orthodontic residents each summer.
When Dr. Odhner is not straightening smiles, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, who is a native of Huntingdon Valley. Matt is a small business owner himself who started a line striping company in 2014 called Quick Lot. Dr. Odhner and her husband have two young boys named Ryland and Nolan whom they both adore! Their white Labrador, Donovan (named after former Eagles quarterback, Donovan McNabb) is still getting used to this new addition to the family. And in their spare time, Dr. Odhner and her husband enjoy running, cycling, and swimming together in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The entire staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable. Dr. Odhner spends time with you discussing a personalized treatment approach that works best for you. Highly recommend!

Dr Odner and staff were fantastic with our daughters orthodontist care. She had beautiful results and she absolutely loves her smile now. They were attentive and informative every step of the way. They were accommodating with our scheduling needs. The doctor works on all the important step herself and supervises closely the rest of the work. We will miss them all. We will most definitely return in a few years with our youngest.

Dr. Ohdner and everyone in her practice made the process of having my daughter get braces so easy. The professionalism of everyone in the office has been evident in all of our visits. My oldest daughter just finished the entire process and her teeth look beautiful. We are now bringing our younger daughter to get braces. They couldn't make the process easier or better. They are all awesome!

Just started my invisible aligner treatment with Dr. O and her awesome team! She and her staff have been so patient and supportive and incredibly responsive to all my questions and concerns. I am confident that with them I will have the smile I've always wanted when I am finished. The team and office space are all incredibly pleasant, welcoming, uplifting, and kind. Not at all like your typical sterile, corporate environment. This place is cozy!! You can tell everyone loves what they do and are there to go above and beyond to help their patients. Dr O. Even checked in with me after I had 2 teeth extracted (something I was nervous about) prior to starting treatment and sent me the digital rendering of my plan. I'm definitely one of the older patients among lots of kids just starting out with braces but Dr. O seems incredible with the kids that are in the office too. They are all smiles and laughs in the chair and she always sounds comforting and encouraging. Couldn't ask for a more positive experience so far!

Words to describe Odhner Orthodontics is very hard to describe, because of how amazing and the whole staff is. They take care of you and have your best interest at heart. The front desk staff are extremely professional and friendly and the entire dental team is outstanding. I highly recommend the dentistry for you and your friends and entire family. 10/10

I am forever thankful for Dr. O and her amazing team. I took Dr. O's and my dentist's advice and took my 7 year old for a free consult since her upper jaw wasn't growing quickly enough which was causing her bite to be off. I had never been to an orthodontist myself and had no idea how important it is to take kids at the young age of 7 before any problems get worse. The expander has done exactly what it's supposed to and now her bite is perfect and there was enough room for two of her teeth to grow in. I imagine we would have had lots of trouble later on had we not gotten that expander put on as early as we did. Dr. O and her team are so kind with my child and always explain what's going on. Also, I love that the office is spotless and it's obvious they put lots of thought into the waiting area decor. My daughter specifically said how she loves the waiting area. One last thing, we never seem to wait long which is a huge plus! Definitely take them up on the free consult, you won't regret it!

She is so kind, genuine and makes you feel like the most important person especially when it comes to your orthodontic treatment.
