Throughout her career she has been committed to giving back to those in need. Having participated in various mission trips to Honduras and Jamaica, as well as locally through Mission of Mercy, Community Day and Give Kids A Smile Day. As the founder of The Forbes Family foundation she aims to improve healthcare outcomes for those who lack access to health care through education and outreach with the goal of addressing those barriers to empower and support the communities the foundation serves.
Dr. Forbes earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and her dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She aims to offer the highest possible level of comprehensive patient care in her practice with her dedication to continuing education. She is a member of the American Dental Association, a Pre-fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry, Fellow with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Maryland State Dental Association and the Anne Arundel County Dental Society. While her key focus is disease prevention she enjoys the surgical aspect of dentistry. She has received advanced training in implantology, implant prosthetics, periodontology,orthodonticsand cosmetic dentistry.
In her spare time she is an avid traveler having been to 35 countries and counting. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying active by playing sports and in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes.

Formlabs' incredibly innovative digital workflow and 3D printers allow us to make accurate and highly reliable dental parts and biocompatible appliances, like dentures, crowns and bridges, clear retainers, and surgical guides, faster and more affordably than existing alternatives right in our office. Its all part of Dr. Forbes commitment to the next generation of digital dental practices.
Dr. Forbes office uses theKaVo OP 3D CBCT system including a 3D cone beam scanner. In addition to a plethora of awards and accolades from the dental community, this 3D imaging system reduces the amount of radiation exposure to patients while still retaining highly diagnostic images.
High-resolution, complete 3D views give the doctor a more thorough analysis of bone structure and tooth orientation. More precise data helps the doctor plan with more confidence treatment for surgical placement of the implant and abutment to deliver more predictable, successful outcomes.
Dental microsurgery means that instead of using dental loupes, dentists and oral surgeons use dental operating microscopes to zoom in further and with more clarity. Dental loupes are only able to magnify the area by about 3 to 6 times, whereas dental operating microscopes can increase the size to 20 times the normal vision our eyes can see. Another positive to dental microscopes is that their zoom level is variable Dr. Forbes can change it depending on what is best suited for that particular moment.
We've taken the next step in the progression of delivering crowns and straightening teeth in the quickest, most advanced way possible. Our new Medit video scanner now eliminates the need to take impressions (molds) in most cases. This intraoral scanner literally takes a video scan of your mouth, providing highly accurate virtual impressions. The benefit is that we no longer need to put goopy stuff in our patients' mouths, often causing a gag reflex, to get these impressions. This scanner improves the patient experience while at the same time increasing the quality of the impressions we use for dental implants and crowns.

The doctor was polite and professional. The free consult was not free as they would not discuss basic topics without a $110 X-ray. The morning of my first real appointment, made weeks before, they called to tell me that they could not accommodate my service dog, who was with me during my consult. I won't be going back.

I stopped coming here over a year ago after having THREE negative experiences with their staff. The dentists themselves are wonderful but they cannot make up for the way this office is run. First of all, they stopped fully accepting my insurance without telling me so I started receiving checks in the mail despite paying what I thought was the full amount after my appointments. Second of all, the front desk employees were incredibly rude. They claimed I needed a work on my teeth that my dentist and I never discussed, and were quite pushy when I told them I couldn't afford to schedule an appointment at that time. The third and final time I went I was harassed by the financial staff after my insurance expired. I was trying to pay with my mother's credit card but because she wasn't there to confirm the use of the card they had an entire conversation with the front row staff about how I came across as 'shady' and 'untrustworthy'... rather than do their job and see that the card was on my file. (as later proven when they called and checked with my mother) After being a patient there for over 5 years I have no interest in ever going back.

I am soooo happy I made the decision to visit this Dentist Office! I am such a baby when it comes to dental work and so far I've been back several times to restore my choppers! Today the Dental Team made me feel like family (like always) while taking care of me I was treated like a VIP patient. No pain during an intense process. Try out this dental office because you are also VIP and this Dental Team will take care of you and treat you as such

I've been using Odenton Station Dental since they built the Odenton Town Center and continued to after the practice was sold and began again under new management. Up to today, all has been pretty good. My son and I had back to back appointments today at 3pm. I got off work early, pulled him out of class early to make the appointments. Today at 1pm I get a SMS reminder I have the appointment. We arrive at 2:40pm to find a note on the door to stay in the car and call the office to let them know we've arrived. When I call, it goes to voicemail so I leave a message. When I hang up, I get another SMS that states the business is closed. Looking through the windows, front and back, no one appears to be inside. We leave and 20 min later at 3pm I get a call from Ashli in their office stating they are ready for us but my son and I have already left. When I tell Ashli that, she says they close from 2:30 - 3pm for lunch. There's nothing in the text message nor a note on the door stating that their closure for a 30 min lunch. The area had 6 inches of snow the other day and people are still digging out so with that knowledge, plus no one is visible inside, the SMS stating they are closed, plus the voicemail stating they are closed, it's reasonable to believe the business is in fact closed. When I try to explain this to Ashley, she is remarkably unmoved and offered us new appointments in May, 5 months later. I called back later to ask to speak to the office manager and neither she, nor the dentist that owns the practice is in and apparently, according to Ashli, she's the one in charge today.

One of thee best dental visits I ever had!!! Super friendly staff, very clean, very professional and overall awesome experienced!! From the receptionist desk to my dental hygienist to everyone!! Odenton Station Dental is the BEST! The office is clean, safe, and equipped with the latest technology. Dr. Forbes knew exactly what she was doing! She took her time, made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and followed up the next day to make sure everything was okay. The rest of the staff was attentive and i was in and out without any complication. I've recommended my family as well and they have all had 5-star experiences.

Growing up, I never had adult teeth come in for two of my lower molars; they were just never there. After 30 years, I decided on getting molar implant ---waited for the right technology to be available. My experience at the Odenton Dental Station has been amazing, as the staff is friendly and they really care about their work. Dr. Forbes had done my implantation prep surgery about 6 months ago. I was initially nervous and afraid of pain that might come about, but the whole experience was amazingly painless in my opinion. I had some bone graphing done, which Dr. Forbes specializes in the "platelet-rich fibrin (PRF)" technique---the finest technology. I did have some pressure from the graph growing and doing it's job about three days later; this only felt like the pressure I had while wearing braces in my teen years. It was found I had some gum recession near the implant site that we thought I might need a graph done. Today, I went to my 6 month appointment to be scanned for my crowns---matched and made by their lab tech. To my pleasant surprise, the (PRF) graph that was done for my implant site 6 months ago had inadvertently raised the once receded gum line covering the roots of my neighboring teeth, as well! Needless to say, I am another very happy client!

I've been going to Odenton Station Dental for 8 years now. My experience had been exceptional every time. The front desk staff are pleasant. The hygienist are very personable and listen to your concerns. They let you know what they are doing during your care and I love the goody bags! I need to say that Lauren was wonderful.. very thorough with my cleaning and I appreciated the education and guidance I received from her during my last visit. Dr. Forbes.. love her down to earth approach and caring attitude. She did my cleaning when they were short on staff... thanks Dr. Forbes! We moved from Odenton to Hanover, Md and although there were other dental providers closer I still chose to stay with Odenton Dental. When you find a good provider you will travel further to stay with them! Highly recommended Dental provider.

If a dentist office can be a pleasant experience - this may be it. I've been coming here since this office opened. The staff has always been kind and accommodating especially when schedules change and new appointments are needed. They even forgot about a no show (on purpose) Billing has been spot on with no issues Since day one Lauren has been my hygienist. She is excellent and has kept me out of dental specialists offices. Cleanings are thorough and less stressful because of her and the general calmness of the office. The music isn't bad either. I've only met Dr Forbes recently. It does seem she too listens and is taking a cautious approach to continuing treatment. Overall this is exactly what I'd expect from a dental practice.
