Stephen Garner, DMD Dr. Garner grew up in a small town in northern Idaho. He started his undergraduate studies at Boise State but decided to finish at Northern Arizona University, where he received his BA in Spanish with a minor in biology. Dr. Garner received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. His wife, Gretchen, is a native of Yuma and the two of them decided to come back to her roots to start a dental practice and raise a family. Dr. Garner is currently a member of the Yuma Dental Study Club, the Academy of General Dentistry, Southern Arizona Dental Society, Arizona Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Thor G. Thorson, DDS Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Thorson attended Northern Arizona University where he obtained a bachelors degree in political science with a minor in chemistry. After graduation, Dr. Thorson relocated to the Midwest to attend the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Thorson then practiced dentistry in rainy Oregon as part of a group practice. In August of 2009, Dr. Thorson moved to Yuma and has been enjoying the sun ever since. Dr. Thorson is active in the Yuma Dental Study Club and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Southern Arizona Dental Society, Arizona Dental Association and the American Dental Association. His wife, Katie, is also a Yuma native and they have five children.
Brittany Hancock Brittany graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from Utah State and the Utah College of Dental Hygiene. She has been part of our team since 2016. Brittany loves our awesome patients and enjoys being part of such a great team.
Eryn Eryn graduated from NAU with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. She then attended the Rio Salado Dental Hygiene School to become a dental hygienist. She joined Gila Ridge Dental in 2016 and has over 23 years of experience in the dental field. She works hard to create an environment where our patients can feel comfortable and to develop a relationship with each patient she meets. Eryns favorite thing about being part of our practice is working with kind doctors and an energetic team.
Donna Donna joined our team in 2009 and has over 19 years of experience in the dental field. She graduated from Santa Fe High School and completed her vocational training as a dental assistant in Santa Fe. She has great bosses and enjoys being part of a practice that cares for both patients and employees. She finds caring for our patients to be very rewarding. Donna is dedicated to providing outstanding care to each person she meets.
Gregoria Gregoria joined Gila Ridge Dental in 2017. She has over 20 years of experience as a dental assistant and is certified in X-rays and coronal polishing. She is always learning something new and helping our dentists and patients achieve their goals.
Crystal Crystal graduated in 2010 from the American Institute of Dental Assisting School and is certified as a PRF dental phlebotomist as well as a dental assistant. She joined our team in 2017 and has over nine years of experience in the dental field. She enjoys comforting our patients and using her extensive knowledge and skills to help in all areas of our office. Crystal enjoys being part of a team that is passionate about providing quality dental services to our patients.
Jane Jane is originally from Pico Rivera, California, and has over 19 years of experience in the dental field. She enjoys being part of a team that gets along well and works together to help provide our patients with quality care. Jane has three children, two stepdaughters and two grandchildren. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and bowling.

One of the best Dentist visits I have ever had. Rhonda cleaned my teeth and i was very happy with her work . Dr. Ludwick, Den was just as good. A very good Dentist office.

I was very happy with my experience with Gila Ridge Dental. It was my 1st time going to this dental office as I just moved to Yuma. I was very impressed with how through everyone was with me with explaining every step of the appt. I will be referring Gila Ridge Dental forsure! Also love that it's so close to me in the Foothills next to Frys.

I had an appointment @ 9am on Thursday October 6th. I was greeted why the most friendly office staff. I almost felt like they were family members with the casual conversation while waiting. When I was escorted back I was greeted by Jenn. Another staff member that made me feel like I was family. Jenn was very professional and explained every procedure she was going to perform. At no time did I feel uncomfortable. After Jenn finished with x-rays and pictures I met Dr Ludwig. She did my initial exam. Dr Ludwig was wonderful. She was very friendly while being professional. She's another member of the Foothills staff that made the experience wonderful. The next person I met was Rhonda the dental hygienist. She had a wonderful personality and kept you engaged that It made my experience the best visit I ever had at any dentist. I can't wait for my next visit. I hope this office doesn't change. I'll say it again. The entire staff were the friendliest medical staff I every met. Can't wait to return. They really make you feel welcome.

I just switched from a local dentist to this office and it was a profound difference. Exceptional customer service from start to finish, experienced and detail oriented staff, thorough job, I could not be happier! I have no affiliation with anyone from this office, they just accepted my insurance and I gave them a shot... you probably should too.
