Dr. Aimee Leibowitz grew up on Long Island. She received her Bachelors degree in Biology from Binghamton University, New York. After college, she went on to obtain her doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she met Dr. Frank. She completed a postdoctoral residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University. Dr. Aimee is board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of PediatricDentistry.

In her free time, Dr. Aimee enjoys spending time with her family and her friends. She enjoys the beach, exercise (especially yoga she completed her yoga teacher training in May 2020!), scuba diving and traveling. Aimee and Eric their first son in May 2017, and their twins in April 2020.

Dr. Aimee has wanted to work with kids for as long as she can remember. She loves what she gets to do each and everyday. Raised in a home of educators, her father a math teacher and mother a speech pathologist, she views one of her roles as educating families on healthy lifestyles. Dr. Aimee is also fluent in Spanish.

Her ultimate goal is to make every childs dental visit a positive experience. Dr. Aimee finds it incredibly rewarding to replace childrens dental fears with joy and anticipation for their next visitto see her.

Dr. Aimee has additional experience treating children with special health care needs. She worked at an early childhood center that provided assistance to children with deficits in speech, communication, cognitive development and gross and fine motor development. Using ABA therapy and desensitization techniques, Dr. Aimee has worked with children on the autism spectrum, ADHD, Downs Syndrome, cochlear implants/hard of hearing, cleft lip/palate, behavior disorders and mood disorders. She has advanced training in dental treatment for children with autism. During her time in Boston, Dr. Aimee Leibowitz-Frank treated children from NECC, the New England Center for Children, a school for children with autism as well as Francisan Childrens, a hospital for children with special needs. She works with children with ASD, PDD and ODD. We all know the dentists office can be noisy with weird smells and bad tastes. Dr. Aimees mission is to prove this wrong. She works with children to address their sensory needs to textures, tastes, sounds and lighting in the dental setting. She always gives specialized and personalized attention to those who need that extra little bit of love.

Yuzellis our head clinical assistant here at Oceans.She studied at Rutgers University, School of Health Professions, where she obtained her CDA and RDA. She is proficient in English and Spanish, and helps our Spanish speaking patients feel at ease. She is passionate about helping others and working with children. In her free time, she enjoys caring for children, spending time with family, traveling to new place or anywhere where the sun is shining and the beach is at her fingertips.

Huyen is our administrator and financial coordinator. She graduated from Penn State University in 2012. She grew up in a family business and owned one herself. After closing her business in 2017, she took an interest in medical coding and billing. Fast forward to today, her focus is to use her acquired skills to help patients and their families with their finances. Outside of work you can find her at the gym training or coaching Olympic weightlifting.

Sofia is our bilingual patient coordinator here at Oceans with a twist of assisting. You may be surprised to know where in South America she was born. You can find her sitting at the front desk with a colorful bandana on most days. The dental field was not something she ever considered but, she decided to give it a chance and has found joy in helping families schedule their dental visits and recently found she enjoys assisting Dr. Aimee. Ask her about Luna, her miniature schnauzer she has a ton of pictures to share!

Sofia is a Dental Assistant at Oceans who works side byside with Dr. Aimee! She is excited to expand her skills and begin her X-ray Certification, which would eventually lead to acquiringher CDA. She is passionate about working with childrenand is proficient in English as well as Portuguese. She took a particular interest in Adolescent Psychology in college and strives to make all children feel comfortable at their dental visits while putting a smile on their faces! Sofia is a child at heart. She loves to be outside in nature, do yoga, and drink BubbleTea! Ask her about her cat, Tulicreme,named after her favorite childhood snack from Portugal!

Jadie is a registered dental hygienist who began her career in 2009. She is originally from Brooklyn, NY where she studied at NYC College of Technology. She went on to receive her bachelors degree in Health Service Administration. She utilized her skills for over 10 years working at NYU Langone Hospital providing treatment in general and pediatric dentistry. She is excited to join the Oceans team to be able to build long term relationships with her patients. Her goal is for every patient to have a positive experience and to educate them about their dental hygiene the way she wished she would have been taught as a child. As a fairly new resident of NJ she enjoys her free time outdoors with her husband, daughter, and dog. She loves to bake, cook, and take pictures.

Stefanie is a clinical assistant at Oceans. Shehas always had a love for working with children and spent eight years as a preschool teacher. She is also a new mommy! She and her husband welcomed their son Hudson in April 2021. In addition to possessing her Child Development Associates, she studied at New Jersey School of Dental Assisting and obtained her dental x-ray license. This quirky combination led her on a perfect path to work in a pediatric/orthodontic office. She strives to form a connection and sense of comfort for each and every patient, and hopes to make every trip to the dentist a positive one. Outside of the officeStefanie loves baking, road trips, and finding a good deal at target!

Christine is our insurance coordinator here at Oceans. You can find her friendly face sitting next to the bubble wall at the front desk. She helps make your dental visit an easy process from understanding your insurance benefits to making sure you get the maximum use on your yearly plan. She obtained a degree in nutrition and food science at Montclair State University which ultimately made her choice to work at Oceans easy as Dr. Frank has a similar degree. Christine enjoys staying active and activities such as hiking to find new Zen views.

Ashley is our Treatment Coordinator for Dr. Frank on the ortho side! At Oceans she helps start our patients in their orthodontic journey, from palate expanders to braces and more. She has two young girls of her own, so she loves connecting with our littles to make ortho a fun and exciting experience. Her favorite part about being our TC is seeing everyones smile transformations and their confidence glow up when they see their final results. Shes also our resident artist and loves painting, crafting, and writing. In her spare time, you can find her having dance parties with her girls, camping, collecting cool new crystals, and soaking up the sun at the beach. And if that doesnt keep her busy enough she also has SIX pets and tons of plant babies!

Kate is a registered dental hygienist. She loves working with children of all ages. In fact, Kate started out her career as a high school English teacher. But her true calling to the dental field could not be ignored, so she pursued her dream of becoming a dental hygienist at Bergen Community College. Now she loves having one on one time with each patient and being able to teach them about their oral health. She believes going to the dentist can be a fun, positive experience for every patient to be proud of! Outside of the office she loves spending time with her own two kids out in nature.

Drs. Aimee and Eric Frank chose the name Oceans because of their love for the sea, beach, nature and the calming ocean waves. The E and A at the center of ocEAns represents Drs. Eric and Aimee at the center of Oceans. They enjoy a passion for adventure travel and love to share their pictures and memories of ocean adventures around the world
