I would give 0 stars. They leave their phone off the hook on purpose. Very bizarre. They must not want to work. Never seen anything like it. Makes you wonder how places like these stay open

Absolutely horrible and rude office staff who think they know it all ! I made all my appointments faithfully ! I missed one time due to simply it slipping my mind , I called them right away and opologized and asked for another appointment. The lady said well, we will have to see now that you missed an appointment of the doctor will take you back . They never did and left me hung out to dry with partially finished work , Unbelievable to treat a human this way ! As if they never make mistakes . But then again, what do you expect from a Medicaid office ! I am also reporting them to the state ...Just not how you treat people!

I've always gotten through via phone to make apts and they are always pleasant and comforting! The receptionist Always gets back to me asap when I leave a message after hours and is nice, and the staff was thorough and kind. I'll Deff use them again! And recommend them! They take state insurance also which is great

I wish there was 0 stars. As an adolescent, this was my dentist. Coming from a family with low income, me and my siblings were covered under Medicare. I was faithful to my dental health, brushed and flossed 3-4 times a day. However Ocean State Dental made me go through many necessary procedures. I truly believe, because my parent was unable to take me, and I would go to appointments on my own they took full advantage of the Medicare system. By the age of 15 I went through, many unnecessary root canals, molars pulled and multiple caps. I now have molars under caps, that can not be saved. I am 36 and have 4 molars that had to be pulled and three that are capped and slowly coming loose. It is hard for me to eat and I go through a lot of pain. They capped my molars without doing root canals. I have gone through trama because of Ocean State Dental. I haven't been able to see a dentist in over 2 decades because of what Ocean State made me go through.

They complain if or when you miss more than one appointment and they tell you to be early just to have you in the waiting room for an hour anyway

Ok , they get the job done. Receptionist are very pleasant and the assistants are very nice !!!!!!! Only recommendation oral surgeons talk to their dental assistants nicer.

Horrible customer service they leave you waiting on the phone and then hang up rude receptionist unprofessional . The Dr is ok need better staff asap

These people are unprofessional they leave the phone off the hook the second they walk in. Why even have a phone? It's amazing that you can't even make an appointment by calling it's just lazy work ethic's.

Do a ok job but trying to get ahold of them must be harder then it is to actually pull teeth.they talk about the night befor and how there husbands and wife's are and act like your not in the room I retry the line agin and agin and the line is always busy! Makes me think if it's intentional like they just haven't had there coffee yet lol my advice get up and smell the expresso and be way more Professional u have some sort of a dr customers have no cares about your problem or if u like your Your secretaryThey act like a family office defending each other almost cult like kind of scary when you have your mouth open but I guess they get the job done for someone who has state insurance right? The last thing I have to say it's sad people in this world don't know they have a good thingAnd take advantage of it I guess they know They have a good thing because of the only state dental and Exploit it but how long until the state won't deal with them anymore and we don't have to deal with them and that's my advice do you guys not see this customers are just lucky? They have a dentist that deals with state medical that's how they seem to take it super sad bro super sad girls not everyone can be as privileged

Had to go in multiple times to repair a tooth because the work was done so poorly. The wait was terrible and the dentist is busy chatting with assistants about his vacation while repairing the tooth. Wouldn't mind if he was good enough to multi-task but he isn't. Avoid if you can.

They seriously need to update their phone system. I've called over 30 times and always get a busy signal, not sure how anyone can make an appointment or even talk to someone here if you can't get through

Broken equipment I sat down in the chair to have my teeth cleaned and the x-ray machine hit me in the face about six times until the woman shrugged her shoulders and said sorry . This dentist is absolutely horrible on every single level. Not only did I have an emergency and I tried to call the office to get my dental records they took the phone off the hook for eight months. When I finally went in for one of my scheduled cleanings I informed them I had been trying to get a hold of them they made up some excuse the receptionist made up some excuse about why their phone was off the hook. I had another cleaning scheduled about two weeks ago they called me three times to confirm the appointment they called me an hour before the appointment I drove to the office I got about 10 minutes away on the highway on 295 and they Called me to tell me they were canceling my appointment because there is no in my chart that says I told them I was going to find another dentist. I informed us the lady the only reason that I had told them that six months prior was because I had been calling for eight months and the phone was off the hook and I needed my dental records. Unprofessional is an understatement as well as the fact that they think that they're one of the few places that except Rhode Island state dental and Rhode Island state dental does not pay much so they can treat people like garbage it's disgusting. I have half a mind to call OSHA department of labor and congressmen Cicilline it's disgusting this place the doctors that work there and the receptionist.
