After graduating with his D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1998, Dr. Chad Hoecker opened his fee for service practice in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Shortly following the start of his practice, he recognized there was an unmet need for dental care for low-income families. Further research supported this conclusion; such as the Surgeon Generals report on Oral Health in America, which indicates children from low-income families suffer twice as many cavities as their more affluent peers, and their disease is more likely to go untreated. This knowledge and his desire to help led him to open his traditional practice to Medicaid.
The initial response to Medicaid acceptance was overwhelming and far-reaching. Fee-for-service clinics accepting Medicaid are often limited by the extensive financial and scheduling complications presented when processing Medicaid patients. Because the Ocean Dental system is built on a Medicaid model, our clinics are able to provide high quality dental care to the most underserved socioeconomic group in the country.
Part of what makes Ocean Dental unique is not the work done, but how it is done, states Ocean Dental Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Chad Hoecker, D.D.S. Every clinic is designed to create a unique experience for the patients. Each new facilitys interior reflects an ocean theme from front to back, using vibrant colors and tropical decorations, said Dr. Hoecker. To add to the experience, televisions are above each chair to keep patients entertained during treatment. The professional staff is well-versed in dealing with children and adults. Altogether, it helps to create a positive, memorable and fun experience for patients and their families.

They were great and pulled my tooth in minutes. My appointment was 2pm I was out and home by 222pm. They were awesome best dentist appointment ever

I scheduled my son an appointment here and it turned out he needed to get some dental work done so he had to be referred to war acres in Oklahoma City well he had to be put under anesthesia to get dental work done which already brings a concern to me well the day before my appointment we had a ice storm in and the roads are very very slick.! So I called warrvacres and told Jennifer my concern and proceeds to get very irritated that I was calling the day before his appointment. Which I understand it's the day before but I can't help that I'm an hour away and there's an ice storm and it's very dangerous to drive on I 35! Well let's just say the phone call ended badly and now I'm leaving a bad review because they were very unprofessional and they literally wanted me to drive an hour and a half away in the early morning when the roads were slick! Also I called Ocean dental and told them what happened and didn't seem like they really cared much so looks like we're going somewhere else!

They spent maybe 10 minutes actually cleaning my teeth. Least thorough cleaning I have ever gotten, I get one a year so that's my one I guess.

It is impossible to make everyone happy, all the time. I did have an issue here, but when I reached out, it was handled with kindness & professionalism. On my next visit, I was treated with care & kindness. Who could ask for more from anyone? Thank you, Robin & Dr. Parsi.

WORST SHOT EVER!!!!!! The rooms are all open which was really uncomfortable you could here the drills and even other patients talking. I came when they were about to close and I heard them saying "The doctor said we can do it but we have to hurry hurry". I have heard hurry hurry jobs before and they are terrible the dentist was terrible he didn't shake my hand or even mention his presence. THIS WAS THE MOST PAINFUL SHOT EVER. I have gotten 5 fillings and 3 teeth pulled to I do know. Do your self a favor and go to Stillwater dental office.

Best dentist by far! All of my family has been involved with Ocean Dental since my eldest whom will be 20 this year was old enough to go. My now 14 yr old still attends! All of my niece's & nephew's as well. Plus when I take my now 5 & 6 yr. Niece's they are excited to go to the DENTIST! Wow! A practice finally got it right! Thanks Ocean Dental! Courteous, kind, friendly, & knowledgeable staff. But best of all I feel like the patients are # 1! Great job! From the Hill, Vick, & Stephen's families. Mrs. T. Vick

Love this place! Sad to see the shirts and backpacks are not part of the visits anymore but the staff and doctor are the absolute sweetest. They took their time and made my kids feel super comfortable. My daughter was scared at first and really shy but she warmed up to Lizzy and we loved her! Looking forward to our next visit and fun cleaning!

I absolutely love Robin. She is such a people person. She makes you feel comfortable and doesn't make the dentist a dreaded place to go. I look forward to my cleanings because of her and her personality, not to mention the amazing job she does.

The dental hygienist was amazing and so good with my daughter. However my other children had an appointment on the same day and they had a different hygienist who was horrible. She should not be working with kids. She had no flexibility with children and their personalities. But she is the only one like that there. So one out of many is not bad.
