After graduating with his D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1998, Dr. Chad Hoecker opened his fee for service practice in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Shortly following the start of his practice, he recognized there was an unmet need for dental care for low-income families. Further research supported this conclusion; such as the Surgeon Generals report on Oral Health in America, which indicates children from low-income families suffer twice as many cavities as their more affluent peers, and their disease is more likely to go untreated. This knowledge and his desire to help led him to open his traditional practice to Medicaid.
The initial response to Medicaid acceptance was overwhelming and far-reaching. Fee-for-service clinics accepting Medicaid are often limited by the extensive financial and scheduling complications presented when processing Medicaid patients. Because the Ocean Dental system is built on a Medicaid model, our clinics are able to provide high quality dental care to the most underserved socioeconomic group in the country.
Part of what makes Ocean Dental unique is not the work done, but how it is done, states Ocean Dental Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Chad Hoecker, D.D.S. Every clinic is designed to create a unique experience for the patients. Each new facilitys interior reflects an ocean theme from front to back, using vibrant colors and tropical decorations, said Dr. Hoecker. To add to the experience, televisions are above each chair to keep patients entertained during treatment. The professional staff is well-versed in dealing with children and adults. Altogether, it helps to create a positive, memorable and fun experience for patients and their families.

I absolutely love their energy and the environment. Miss crystal and the whole front desk office team get you settled in. The X-ray techs are absolutely amazing. The whole staff so incredibly awesome. I'm 37 years old and they settled me and my anxiety. Took their time on my x-rays. Took the time on cleaning my teeth and that area has such a smoothing environment. Their energy is amazing. Their team work and compassion for people is so on point. They made me so calm and everyone's conversation was not rushed. They really listened and interacted with me. The same treatment went for my 2 kids. If you really want an establishment that cares about you and your teeth and calming you this is place for you.. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I dont give too many reviews but this place they deserve one. I will be a loyal customer to the end cuz they are so worth it

NEVER GO HERE. They are incredible rude and do not respect people's time! Plus the office is just dirty and rundown. I wish I could give negative stars.

Dung (Becky) Ho, DMD General Dentist and her assistant Ms.Amy did an amazing job. I felt comfortable because they along with the entire staff made sure my questions were answered and that i understood the care plan and current procedure. Dr. Ho took great care in making sure I was satisfied with my dental work. Thanks for a nice experience. Excellent service, exceptional staff, and genuine kindness.

I have a complicated dental situation in that I can't get any tooth infections because of after cancer bone med treatment that I must take that could cause jaw necrosis. This clinic works with me to keep my teeth healthy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoy my visits.

I hate it here I've had problems with being numbed properly because I still felt pain with every step tbey did and with fillings

My family and I have been going to ocean dental for years good attendance may take a while if dont have a appointment but the dentists are nice and do a good work. reccomend to go to ocean dental

I recommend don't go to this dentist , this the worse dentist I ever been to , yes they nice & they were polite .... but my first appointment I experience bad service .. they called me after I left because they said whatever I paid for wasn't in the system ... why it wasn't taking care of before I left , then want to call me for my card # , umm no .. then I called back , they didn't need it .. so basically y'all just wanted some more money ?? & trying to get over on me ... then didn't even clean my teeth right
