After graduating with his D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1998, Dr. Chad Hoecker opened his fee for service practice in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Shortly following the start of his practice, he recognized there was an unmet need for dental care for low-income families. Further research supported this conclusion; such as the Surgeon Generals report on Oral Health in America, which indicates children from low-income families suffer twice as many cavities as their more affluent peers, and their disease is more likely to go untreated. This knowledge and his desire to help led him to open his traditional practice to Medicaid.
The initial response to Medicaid acceptance was overwhelming and far-reaching. Fee-for-service clinics accepting Medicaid are often limited by the extensive financial and scheduling complications presented when processing Medicaid patients. Because the Ocean Dental system is built on a Medicaid model, our clinics are able to provide high quality dental care to the most underserved socioeconomic group in the country.

All the staff is nice except one, every time I come in to see her she has the same attitude with me, and these recent reviews makes it seem like she has this attitude towards everyone. She's always so rough on the teeth with any appointment I've had with her. Last time she did a cap on me, my gums were torn up pretty badly and took a week to heal. And anytime I come in she complains to be about my teeth saying stuff like "if you brushed your teeth more I wouldn't have so much work to do" it seems like she's always complaining about working on teeth and kids being upset. And today was the last straw I will be looking for a new dentist starting today.

I made an appointment two weeks in advance with insurance, after a previously cancelled appointment with Aspen Dental. So, the staff had plenty of time to verify the insurance before I walked in. I called the insurance and had the company talk to the staff to verify it, and they still would not keep my appointment, with availability at the end of June. I am still in an emergent condition taking 2000mg 3x a day acetomenephine, to work and sleep. I ended up going to a third dentist to wait another 2 weeks. Watch out for this dentist, too.

They take forever to attend you. My sons appointment was at 10am and being almost half a hour we were still in the waiting room waiting to be seen.

Come here if you want to experience the worst patient care, Bedside manner or customer service whichever you would like to call it. Literally go anywhere else any other Ocean Dental I imagine would be better than the Lawton location. They prolong dental problems to milk the co pay's. They have no empathy and will fill your spot quicker than you will ever be able to make it even if you just have to move money from savings to checking to cover another copay

Dental assistant staff is amazing . Very caring. And knowledgeable in their field Bailey and Tami so kind to my teenager grand kids. And the sweet lady( Serena) that came to help me find the place to write a review! This place is wonderful

me and my brother went to this dentist when we were younger, i am now old enough to understand how disgusting this place is. they were working on my brothers teeth the same time they were working on mine and all of a sudden i heard my brother screaming. i was trying to get away from the lady who was doing my teeth so that i could go check on my brother. but the lady had grabbed me and held me down onto the chair so I couldnt move & said "he's just laughing" and the whole time he was bleeding like crazy from the mouth!! I DO NOT RECCOMEND

You need to be more patient and understanding with your patient. The way you yelled to calm her down was not appropriate. Especially for your line of work. Yelling doesn't help with anxiety. It makes it worse. She felt unsafe.

I wouldn't take my dog there. Very rude people in the front and the back. That one tooth he pulled has cost me over 90, 000$ in other surgeries and ER hospital bills. You wouldn't even think it was possible until it happens. They broke so much of my jaw that I'm still having problems everyday.
