After graduating with his D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1998, Dr. Chad Hoecker opened his fee for service practice in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Shortly following the start of his practice, he recognized there was an unmet need for dental care for low-income families. Further research supported this conclusion; such as the Surgeon Generals report on Oral Health in America, which indicates children from low-income families suffer twice as many cavities as their more affluent peers, and their disease is more likely to go untreated. This knowledge and his desire to help led him to open his traditional practice to Medicaid.
The initial response to Medicaid acceptance was overwhelming and far-reaching. Fee-for-service clinics accepting Medicaid are often limited by the extensive financial and scheduling complications presented when processing Medicaid patients. Because the Ocean Dental system is built on a Medicaid model, our clinics are able to provide high quality dental care to the most underserved socioeconomic group in the country.
Part of what makes Ocean Dental unique is not the work done, but how it is done, states Ocean Dental Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Chad Hoecker, D.D.S. Every clinic is designed to create a unique experience for the patients. Each new facilitys interior reflects an ocean theme from front to back, using vibrant colors and tropical decorations, said Dr. Hoecker. To add to the experience, televisions are above each chair to keep patients entertained during treatment. The professional staff is well-versed in dealing with children and adults. Altogether, it helps to create a positive, memorable and fun experience for patients and their families.

A female dentist or assistant ...i dont know but a couple years ago she broke my back tooth and had the nerve to say sorry make a appointment ill fix it ...how do you break a tooth cleaning ??I never ever came back I took my kids from them also.. please be careful here or at least don't let the female work on you.. I wish I had her name I'd tell the world ! I'd give zero stars if I could!

I've been coming to ocean dental for yrs & I'm very pleased with my cleanings/restorative hands down but the wait time in this office is horrible. Your appt can be at 2pm & your not seen until 3:30pm which makes no since what so ever. It been like this for a very long time & it's to the point now I'm thinking of finding a new dental office. That's why I'm giving 1 star sad part is I would love to give them a 5 but that wait time take away from it all. I feel a child cleaning should take 30 min & adult should take 45 mins depending on their situation with their teeth. My time is valuable just like everyone else & with this office not being on time isn't a good thing once again appt @ 2pm and your not out until 4:30pm & I only got a cleaning.

My son had an appointment at 830am at this location I didn't get a call or anything saying this building was closed. I drove all the way here there's a note on the door and no one is answering

They are amazing overall, never had any problems there. Very great patience, very kind. Ms. Qureshi was very professional and so is the other dentist who saw me previous to her, he was also very professional and very nice to me. When you're in pain (especially mouth pain) you need a place with a caring staff...and they fit the bill all around. Ms. Qureshi did a good job on my extraction..

This place is crazy. When I originally made the appointment they called and said i had to change the day. Now that im here its still bad service my kids appointment started at 100pm and its now 143 and they still haven't called my kids thats over 40 minutes waiting this is unacceptable.

They were being rude to my mother and they broke a machine in my sister's mouth and they didn't tell my dad until my sister did. There's a hole in my sister mouth and when she tries to drink something it comes out of her nose which burns. Plus her face is in pain , there might be an infection. 100% don't go here.

Very rude staff, very unprofessional!! As I sat in the room waiting two hours for my daughter to get done, I listened as the staff talked about the parents as well as the patients. All of the hygienist look over worked, irritated and very unhappy.
