In fact, it is where their life started and continues to this day. Born and raised in Ocean City, Dr. Richard Raab's five children grew up together and decided to follow in their father's footsteps into dentistry and medical fields. Raab's original office was on 8th and Central but during the 1970's when he knew his children were taking on his career path for themselves, he built their current office at 6th and West.
What makes Jerry, Gary, Diane, Scott and Mark Raab such unique siblings is that they're all still together; friends that work with each other, live within a few blocks of one another, vacation together, and collectively take pride in their work and their island.
'My dad taught us a great work ethic and my mom, she was over the top great and always wanted for us to stay together and that 's what we have accomplished,' said Diane (Raab) Stone Who has been working at her families dentist office for the last 28 years now. Her Mother; Dorothy Raab, or as she was known as'Gubby' kept the family close knit and would have loved if her kids had all stayed in their house that they grew up in.
Scott Raab runs the dental lab which is next door and attached to thier office, making their practice distinctive to have an on-site lab for customizing services like crowns and dentures. Each Family member appears to use their individualized skills to play an imperative role in the overall mission. The dental office does dental care for Horizon Mercy and donated dental care for seniors. During Hurricane Katrina, Jerry and Mark were compelled to go to Louisiana to provide free dental assistance to the victims in need.
Aside from their love of surfing, paddle boarding and fishing on their family boat 'The Sweet Tooth' the Raab family 's favorite part of living and working in Ocean City is the people and the small town feel of running into friends and patients all over the island.
'To us, patients are our family' said Diane who has enjoyed watching and being a part of the life of their patients, 'Personalized service is what we love. People who come in here are always going to see us, not somebody they don 't know.'

I cannot emphasize enough how elated I am with my experiences at this dental center. Just incredible. This doctor knows how to apply Novocaine and he does excellent work. Cleanings by Diane are also excellent. We've have had several dentists over many years and these folks are absolutely the best and have BY FAR exceeded our expectations. Bob Mack rating: TEN STARS

Booked an appointment to save a tooth- told I was there for an extraction- when I questioned how an infection in the gum is handled, I was told the tooth is extracted- maybe this dentist should be a barber pulling teeth.

I can't say enough about how nice my experience was..Diane is so friendly and real..i was so happy she was cleaning my teeth. Dynamite personality..kind..family oriented. Thank you I'm so happy I get my teeth cleaned and work done here..Dr. Raab is as nice as his brother thank you..highly recommend!!!

I will never go anywhere else! I'm 28 years old and I've been coming here since I was a little girl! My kids go and my husband. Every single person is beyond friendly and makes you feel at home. My husband hadn't seen a dentist in years because of his fear and even he enjoys coming in to see Diane and Dr. Raab! They're awesome.

I had an emergency while on vacation. Who can imagine having their crowned front tooth come out at the beach! Scary! Dr Rabb was wonderful. They took me right away and helped to ease my nervousness and found a solution for me so I can smile again and eat!! Thank goodness for Dr Raab's expertise and willingness to help a visiting patient! Highly recommend him!

Brought a child in for an Emergency Front Bonding today. It was wonderful. The time and care spent bonding this front tooth was awesome but more importantly the end result was Perfect. What a Beautiful Job. Seriously considering changing my family dentist. Thank you Dr. Raab and Staff.

This is the reason I keep coming here. I was petrified of Dentist my first visit here. After being treated by Dr. Raab and then met his wonderful sister Diane, I now call this home and look forward to coming here. They are my extended family and treat me as such. Now it is 13yrs later and I still look forward to my visits and I am faithful. I won't ever go anywhere else.
