With more than two decades in the dental field, she never gets tired of seeing beautiful smiles! She and her husband are native Floridians who love exploring the beaches for seashells and wildlife when they arent home with their many pets. Their daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter live in Colorado so they have added mountain adventures to their activities. Working for Dr. Amir, she says is very rewarding and she feels lucky to be part of such an exceptional team!
Heather moved from South Dakota to Florida over 10 years ago, where she met and married Dr. Amir! She is a busy mother of two beautiful daughters and an adorable son and loves being part of their growing practice. She feels like the office team are her second family! She enjoys cooking, being outdoors, going to the gym, and spending time with their family and friends and their cat, Cosmo.
She has been working in the dental field for over 15 years. She started in the dental field in 9th grade, and continued to work until the birth of her first daughter. She took several years off to raise her four children, and is also a proud grandmother of six! She came back to the dental field and got her expanded functions and radiology certification at the University of Florida. She lives in Ocala with her wonderful husband Rob. She loves being a part of this growing practice and appreciates Dr. Jamie Amirs perfection and determination to help his patients achieve the best periodontal care possible.
A native Florida girl, she moved to Ocala more than 20 years ago. Courtney has worked in the dental field for over 9 years in both clinical and administrative positions. She loves her patients and being part of Dr. Amirs team. In her free time she enjoys cooking, spending time with family, friends and her yellow Labrador, Cooper!
Born and raised in South Dakota, Katlyn moved to Florida about 3 years ago. She loves everything about Florida, especially kayaking, being at the beach, playing volleyball and just being outdoors! During her years as a part of Dr. Amirs team, she has grown to love the dental field. She loves interacting with patients and being part of this amazing team!
A native Ocala girl, born and raised! She has been in the dental field for 18 years. She started as a certified dental assistant bridging into the hygiene program at Santa Fe and graduating in 2005. She has a fur baby named Joey and has been married over 5 wonderful years to her husband, Adam. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, going to the gym, boating and helping her husband with DIY home projects, woodworking, etc. She is excited to be a part of Dr. Amirs team!
Shai has been in dentistry since 2001 starting as an expanded functions dental assistant and has loved dentistry ever since. She graduated with her hygiene degree from Santa Fe in 2015 on the Deans list and received the Outstanding Professionalism Award for her class. She loves keeping up with her continuing education and when she is not studying, she enjoys spending time with her family and going to Disney.
Scotty is a Florida native and has returned to Ocala after residing in Tampa for five years. He is a graduate of the University of Tampa where he completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theater. Scotty has been working as a performing artist with various entertainment companies for the last decade. He is passionate about the performing arts, animals, and humanitarianism. Scotty is excited to be embarking on a new journey in the dental industry with the OPDI family and looks forward to greeting all the shining and healthy smiles!
Originally from Michigan, Selena moved to the Sunshine state in 2002. She is currently continuing her education in Psychology and enjoys watching true crime documentaries. She also enjoys cooking, spending time with loved ones, and adventures with her pups Stewie and Loki. New to the dental industry, Selena has joined Dr. Amirs team as his Transcriptionist and loves learning all about the procedures Dr. Amir Performs.

I just moved to Ocala And I had to have a tooth removed. I want to see Dr Jamie Amir at the Ocala Periodontics and Dental Implants. They did a great job and I Would recommend them if you need this type of work done.

Shea was the best dental hygienist I've ever had! From her sweet, warm personality, the efficient and kind initial check, Shea performed the best dental cleaning I've had in years. Superior "bedside manner ", always in tune with my comfort level and thorough job in my mouth! Of course Dr. Amir came in to check on my gums, always such a kind, sweet gentleman. Thank you all in Dr. Amir office for making every visit pleasant and kind! Wonderful group of professionals!

This was my first visit with Dr. Amir's office. I was very pleased especially with his staff who are very warm, friendly and willing to listen. Dr Amir spend time with me and was very willing to answer any of my concerns. I highly recommend this office

I can not say enough nice things about the care I received. My hygienist (Shay) was very knowledgeable and she answered all my questions and explained to me what she was doing. The doctor was very nice and I felt comfortable throughout my whole visit and will be moving forward under his care. Thank you so much.

When you go to a dental office for an extraction, you don't expect to walk away with feelings of comfort and peace of mind. But that's exactly what I experienced. From the friendly receptionist to the physician assistants to the Doctor himself; everyone was kind, friendly, and courteous. For excellent detailed quality care and an enjoyable experience, I highly recommend Ocala Periodontics & Dental Implants.

Dr. Amir and his staff are remarkable! I am a huge coward in the dentist's chair and he and his staff all treated me with such kindness and respect. They made me feel welcome from the moment I walked into the office. Selena and Scotty were so friendly, courteous, and helpful. Katlyn and Laurie were with me through my tooth extraction, and they were both amazing. They kept me calm and made me comfortable the entire time. Dr. Amir removed my infected tooth with such expertise. It was totally painless, and he explained every step to assure I felt safe. I cannot say enough about Dr. Amir and his staff. I am so grateful to have been referred to them. Bless them all!

I highly recommend Dr.Amir. l was very pleased with him. He seems to genuinely care about his patients. He explained the procedures very clearly, did not talk down to me,was very gentle did not add on charges that he easily could have. And I think that he himself calling to check on you afterwards really says a lot. His staff is also great. All very sweet,caring and knowledgeable. I have had many bad experiences in many different dental practices so to meet someone like Dr.Amir is so refreshing and important. Definitely 5 star.

Dr. Amir of Ocala Periodontics and Dental Implants is a wonderful dentist. He is professional, respectful, and provides top notch dental care. Dr. Amir takes the time to explain the medical issues, discuss the options, and answer questions. I am quite nervous as a dental patient and have been since childhood. Dr. Amir's manner and knowledge puts me at ease. Even the numbing shots are easily tolerated be me. He takes the time to make sure that the dental procedures are comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Amir and his friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ocala Periodontics & Dental Implants is definitely a five star medical practice.

It was the first time I had been here for an exam. Alicia did my exam, she was wonderful!!! She was very knowledgeable and caring in everything she did. Dr. Amir was the best. Very knowledgeable, polite, positive, you get it! I would highly recommend this office for any dental work!!

I have been going to Ocala Periodontics and Dental Implants since they opened. The office is very welcoming. The staff is efficient and professional as well as being friendly. Prior to reopening after Covid, Dr. Amir made sure his patients knew all he had done to keep us and his staff safe. I really appreciated that. When Alicia does my cleaning she is very gentle but thorough. She makes sure to let me know how I'm doing and any places I could use improvement if necessary. I have always felt like Dr. Amir and Alicia really care about my dental health. I highly recommend this practice.
