Dr. Cima Mazar-Atabaki is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. She received her bachelors degree in Biology from U.C. Irvine and went on to California State University of Northridge where she obtained her Masters Degree in Biology. Dr. Cima, as she likes to be called by her patients, graduated dental school from the University of Pittsburgh and completed her formal education at the University of Southern California in 2009, where she obtained her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. She has been serving the needs of children in the Los Angeles area for 9 years before getting married, to Dr. Farhang Shahzadi a general dentist in Aliso Viejo, and establishing roots here in Aliso Viejo.
Dr. Cima has a very kind and caring personality. Her passion to work with children began early as an undergraduate student at UCI, doing research as a behavior therapist working with children with Autism. Dr. Cima believes that each child is unique and special and deserves personalized attention for their individual needs. She is known for her calm demeanor, loving nature, and gentle touch when providing high quality dentistry to her patients. She is dedicated to providing excellent care and has shown commitment to life-long learning.
In her free time Dr. Cima enjoys golfing and exploring the world with her husband. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as working out, reading, and cooking. And when the weather is nice and warm you can find her on her beach cruiser.

Our pediatric dental office welcomes many types of dental insurance, we will be happy to assist you with any questions you have regarding your insurance before your visit. We also accept many types of payments including cash, debit and all major credit cards. Our payment coordinator will work directly with you on these options. If you have questions concerning the financial aspect of your visit, our pediatric dental office administrators are always willing to answer your questions and address your concerns.

I'm so happy I found Dr. Cima as my kids' dentist! Dr. Cima treated my 3 yr old's multiple dental problems under general anesthesia with Dr. Eshagian (Anesthesia). I couldn't have asked for more trusting and competent team. They were compassionate and professional. The staff at the front desk are also very kind. Thank you!

Better and improved dentists but when you are going through the glass door why the hell is it so light also it would be better if it was cleaner but it's fine in general

Trying to find a local good pediatric dentist that will take their time with my kid. Just called and they want $230 per child for a cleaning! Omg how does anyone afford dental cleanings for their children. This is more then twice the price for my adult dental cleaning! And they wont take my x-rays from another office for a second opinion. What is wrong with child dentistry these days! Ridiculous!

We love coming here, the entire staff is patient and friendly and puts kids at ease. Dr. Cima is FANTASTIC! She really takes her time to think through best methods of care for each of my children (and I'm sure all her patients) and it always fits their needs and mine so perfectly. She is great with kids and really does her best to make it a great experience for the whole family. Thank you OC Kids Dental! ..... oh and they have fun coin toy machines for the kids to get treasures from after their visit and a great waiting area. They even let us pick the movie we want on during our check up/dental work which plays on the ceiling above the kids while they get their work done!

We love Dr. Cima!! My 2 year old son fractured his front tooth and Dr. Cima helped us save his tooth from being extracted. She's gentle and great with my kids and the staff is wonderful and accommodating.

I can't believe how fast she did my sons cavities and crown. I'm so grateful to finally found a child's dentist who is such a blessing! The office staff are always so friendly and helpful .
