Dr. Janelle Comfort is originally from Orange, California, just 10 minutes away from Santa Ana, and after attending dental school and practicing out of state, shes so happy to be back home. She knows it sounds clich, but she says the best part about her job is getting patients out of pain as well as giving them beautiful smiles they can be proud of. She truly enjoys getting to meet new people every day, and before she meets you, you can get to know her a little better by reading on below.
Dr. Comfort always loved art growing up, from ceramics to sculpting to woodshop to just painting and sketching. She was also always good at math and science, but she didn't find true love for science until she took physiology/anatomy in high school. This led her to the health field. When she initially looked into dentistry, she didn't know too much about it. Only after working as a dental assistant for 2 years in college did she see how it was the perfect combination of science and art. She deeply enjoys working with her hands and creating meaningful relationships. From surgery to cosmetics, she strives to be a dentist that does absolutely everything for her patients. In her words, I love to be the one to gain the trust of the patient, and then be able to tell them with confidence that I can execute their treatment to the highest of standards.
After graduating from UC Irvine, Dr. Comfort was accepted into the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Since obtaining her dental degree, she has feverishly pursued continuing education in basically every category of dentistry: dental implants, Invisalign, endodontics (root canals), restorative dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. She also stays up to date on the latest findings and advancements in the field through various professional organizations, including:
In her quieter moments, Dr. Comfort likes to spend her downtime with her husband Matt, who is a dentist in the Army, as well as their dog Kira, a Shiba Inu. Otherwise, she tends to be a bit of a thrill seeker and enjoys sky diving, bungee jumping, white water rafting, scuba diving, and pretty much anything else that gets her heart pumping. Shes also an avid cook and loves the occasional bottle of wine along with some meat and cheese.

Dentistry runs in the family. Dr. Morgans father was also a talented dentist. When Dr. Morgan was thirteen, he accompanied his father on a trip to Guatemala to establish a clinic under challenging socio-economical circumstances. He received early hands-on experience and this practice would become his life work. At the age of seventeen, Dr. Morgan earned his dental assisting and x-ray license to permit him to work with multiple dentists throughout college. For two years, he worked for a dental laboratory, studying the stages of manufacturing dental prosthetics. This breadth of experience combined with his GPA and DAT score granted him early acceptance to University of Southern California School of Dentistry.
After graduating from USC Dental School in 1986, Dr. Morgan was accepted into the first academic program at Loma Linda University for Dental Implantology. He continued his education with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantology, where he continues to present annually. In 1990, his implant clinic served as the Sterios on-site training center for other dental professionals. Dr. Morgan was among the first dentists trained in the Active Dental Implant. To this day, he is constantly sought out by various dental implant manufacturers to test and train on new systems worldwide.
