Beyond the fun, you will know that you have an orthodontic specialist caring for you or your child throughout treatment. An orthodontist must first receive his or her doctorate in general dentistry; the same as your family dentist. In addition, they must complete an additional two years of graduate training in their specialty Orthodontics. Dr. Day has worked hard to gain the knowledge and expertise to help you achieve the smile you are looking for.
At Oasis Orthodontics, we use the latest in digital technology for treatment planning to determine what is best for your individual needs. Our standards are high, using digital photos and digital X-rays, which minimize patient exposure and maximize the doctors ability to analyze and interpret the information.
Invisalign: These invisible appliances are like clear plastic retainers that are changed every two weeks. This allows select patients to achieve a beautiful new smile without wearing traditional braces.
Dr. Days education and background give him experience above and beyond the norm. Dr. Day grew up in Rochester, Minnesota where at the age of 14 and in braces himself; he decided he wanted to become an orthodontist! Once the goal was determined, he carefully planned out the steps he would need to take to achieve his dream. After graduating from Mayo High School, Dr. Day attended Brigham Young University, where he completed his pre-dental requirements majoring in Biology. He then attended Oregon Health Sciences University, where he received his DMD with high honors, graduating first in his class. After serving our country as a general dentist in Europe for three years, Dr. Day returned to school at the University of Louisville, where he earned his Masters of Oral Biology and his certificate of orthodontics. He then served as Chief of Orthodontics at the Army Hospital at Fort Bliss, Texas, working on soldiers with difficult surgical orthodontic needs. While in Texas, Dr. Day also worked on his own time at a civilian orthodontic practice once a week and on the cleft lip and palate team at the Border Childrens Health Clinic. Dr. Day and his wife Allison have four wonderful children: Tyler, Anne, Elizabeth and Tanner. The years in the Army were great for the Day family, but as the children got older they decided to leave the military and settle down where everyone else seemed to be going Gilbert, Arizona! Growing up in Minnesota, palm trees always symbolized good times for Dr. Day, so as he created the vision of his private practice in Arizona, the name Oasis with a palm and waterfall theme were a perfect fit for him! Oasis Orthodontics opened its doors in 2005 and since then Dr. Day and his team have truly enjoyed seeing patients in this relaxing and fun atmosphere where they strive to make everyones experience a cool and refreshing change from the ordinary!
Dr. Day is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. He is also a member of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce.

Super awesome! I was so worried that my smile would not look good, but the doctor worked some magic and it looks amazing! It's hard not smile now. I was with another orthodontist for about 3 years in another state, and in the third year, he told me he didn't know what else to do to make my note work... I then had to move out of state so I also had to change orthodontists. It took almost a year with Dr. Scott, and like I said, I was very skeptical of how my teeth could be fixed even until the day we set up the appointment to remove my braces. I did not think it was time to remove them yet, but the doctor did a couple of fixing, and man, my teeth look amazing!!! Thank you a lot Dr. Scott, Erika, and the team!

Oasis Orthodontics isn't just a great place to get quality orthodontics. It's also a place where you'll be treated like family. The staff here is beyond welcoming and friendly and go the extra mile to take care of you. I drive over 30 minutes to come here because it's worth it. They are an amazing team and Dr. Day is both friendly and knowledgeable. If you're looking for somewhere to get braces for you or your family, this is the place you should go.

Going into the office is one of the most fun things to do because I always know that all the staff are always super nice. I have had braces for about 1 and a half years and I can tell that my teeth look and feel straighter and better. It is a good feeling to have that you can have someone that can work on your teeth and get the job done that you requested.

We absolutely love Oasis Orthodontics. I have brought both my boys here and they are on pass 2 of their braces. Dr Day and his staff make this such a fun place to be and they do a great job fixing your teeth (bonus right?!). My son had a severe under bite when he was younger but Dr Day fixed that in phase 1. We have had a great experience!

Every time I bring my daughter here they take extremely long to get her back. Usually 15 minutes after the appointment time but they cancel your appointment if you are 10 minutes late. Last time we went my daughter had to share an assistant with someone else it took over an hour and a half to get a wire changed. Dr.Day is so pushy about removing teeth every time we go him and the very rude office manager always want to up charge. They also can't handle splitting payments between divorced parents. Save your time and money and maybe teeth and see a different orthodontist :(((

Really LOVE this office! Not only are they fair priced but the staff is AMAZING! Dr. Day and everyone here really takes great care of my daughter! They are encouraging, gentle, and genuinely kind! Not to mention super quick and great at what they do. Highly recommend for anyone that needs orthodontic work!

I have had braces for about 3 years and I am really happy with my teeth. The assistants and doctor create a awsome energy in the back to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. They make sure that everyone is safe while we wait in the front. Overall I am going to miss having appointments here all the time beacuse they give awesome service and are really nice! I would totally recommend to anyone who needs braces or invisalign and wants an awesome experience
