In college, Dr. Hung spent a year studying in Japan and was enthralled by its culture, language, and unique perspective. Dr. Hung was always interested in human physiology, but he stumbled across dentistry while working as a volunteer chair-side assistant at a student-run clinic that cared for the underserved. He also was fortunate to be paired with an inspiring mentor dentist through a healthcare professional mentorship program on campus. He became a dentist to help people, and he values its evidence-based, preventative approach.
After Dr. Hung graduated from the University of California in San Diego, he studied at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Following that, he completed a general practice residency at the University of Washington to further advance his clinical skills. He is currently a member of the following professional organizations:
When hes not with patients, Dr. Hung is often found enjoying the scenery at Puget Sound or choosing flowers at Pike Place Market. When weather permits, he also likes to hike trails on Mt. Baker or Mt. Rainier. He also enjoys working out at the gym, playing tennis and volleyball, and spending quality time with family, friends, and his adopted Michigan domestic short-hair cat, Mochi.

Wonderful office. Hygienist Nelo takes very good care of my teeth. Dr. Hung is friendly, attentive and does great work. The office is always spotless.

I am perplexed at the ratings on Google compared to Yelp, but here is my review: I went here for treatment but promptly found another dentist. I went in for a loose crown and two other dentists, with a quick glance at my x-ray, said I had a fracture. Dr. Hung said it might be cavities..... I did not have any confidence in what was said during my appt and will echo other reviews indicating a hard sell for extraneous services or treatments. And to the question from the owner, no, this review is for you (Oasis Family Dentistry). I went to your office for an appointment on 9/13/2022--but I imagine you were already aware of that.

Had a scan of my mouth and a cleaning on 9/27/22. All staff was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. I've been coming to Dr Hung since he purchased the business and all experiences have been positive.

Dr. Hung is very gentle and great with kids. My 20-months old did not cry nor fuss at all during the screening and cleaning. Highly recommend this place if you need a doctor for the whole family.

The waiting area had a fresh, warm feeling. Pictures on the walls were comforting, and they apparently were taken by Dr. Hung. He took the time and explained stuff in details during my appointment, so I wasn't stressed. Treatments were done comfortably with gentle touch. Dr. Hung and his team were considerate and neat.

Oasis Dentistry is a fantastic place. I never enjoyed going to the dentist, but they make it enjoyable. Dr. Hung have a great staff and have my teeth in the best shape they ever have been. I highly recommend them.
