Dr. Anna Borden has treated patients from age 0 to 100 (Meet Our Doctor). Prior to starting her own practice, she worked as a general dentist in a pediatric practice. She also worked with veterans through the Veteran's Administration community care system, giving her a wide range of experience. She also received specific training in providing dental care to those with special needs.
While our team may not be the only dental office in the area to offer this service, Dr. Borden received advanced training in this treatment option, giving her a more comprehensive understanding of the procedures involved.
Intraoral Scanner: Gone are the days of a messy impression system. Our intraoral scanner creates the three-dimensional images we need to create properly fitting dentures, crowns, implants, bridges, Invisalign aligners, and other appliances.
Dr. Borden attended James Madison University, where she received her degree in Speech Pathology with a minor in Biology, then went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University.
After graduation, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and served as co-chief resident of the program. She focused on full mouth rehabilitations, implant restorations, and serving patients with special needs.
She is the immediate past president of the Coastal District Dental Society, the local chapter of the American Dental Association. She is also a member of the Junior League of Charleston, and volunteers at the Florence Crittendon House.

I am very happy to have found this dental office, if you have had a bad experience in other offices or it causes you stress to go to the dentist I recommend you Dr. Anna Borden is so kind and explains everything, she gives you confidence and peace of mind and I cannot leave Mention two people: Tamara is an excellent dental technician and Erica is not only a dental technician, she also welcomes you with a big smile and makes you feel like family, just like her co-workers.

Oasis Family Dentistry is amazing!! Dr. Borden is so sweet and truly cares about her patients. A good dentist is hard to find in the Charleston area and I am so happy I found Dr. Borden. The office is so cute as well and the ladies up front are so nice! Would recommend!

If you live in the Charleston area, and you need a dentist.. this is the place to go. The transformation my teeth have gone through is almost unbelievable. I have more confidence than ever before in my life, and I'm smiling more than I ever have. I used to hate going to the dentist, and now I look forward to the next time I have to go. Side note: I never leave google reviews, but Oasis and Dr. Borden (and crew) are so great that I just couldn't help it!

Dr. Borden has an amazing, generous heart. I SO appreciate her fulfilling one of my father's last wishes of having his teeth cleaned, while at home on hospice. It takes a very special person to do that! THANK YOU from our whole family.

Anna Borden and her team at Oasis really take the time/effort to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Their bedside manner is truly unmatched. They are non-judgemental and want to help you get your teeth healthy again! I was very pleased with my first two visits and I actually look forward to my next visit.

I had not been to the dentist in 2 years because of the pandemic so I was super nervous about going. I cannot say enough about how incredible the entire staff made me feel. They are so calm and compassionate. I feel very lucky to have found them! They are extremely knowledgeable and you can really tell they care. Highly recommend them!!

I've had plenty of dental work done in various states and Oasis Family Dentistry has been one of the best I've encountered! (I've been to two others in the area as well). The front desk staff knew questions about my dental insurance just by giving them the name. That is a huge plus when it comes to billing etc. Dr. Borden is professional, sympathetic, and her bedside manners were amazing. They also got me in for an emergency, end of the day ( I'm talking 5pm phone call)! I have never had that prompt of service at any dental office. The office feels serene, and has top notch technology- which is important to me and my unfortunate dental history. This makes procedures easier ( as well as sending records, x rays etc. I've had to hand carry my x rays at other offices). If you like massage chairs, they have those too! If you have children, Dr. Borden will see them too! While I'm not one to usually write reviews, this office deserves it! You'll be glad you called, made the switch to Oasis, or land yourself in an emergency like me.

I recently moved to the area and chose Oasis as the first dentist I tried here. The experience here was great! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely make this my regular dentist.

After avoiding the Dentist for 38 years bc of fear of pain, I had to go to get my dental health back on track. I'm thankful for Oasis Family Dentistry for their patience and wonderful treatment. Deep clean today and totally painless. They are very professional and have a wonderful chair side manner. I now have no fear of going to the dentist at all. Highly recommend this dentist office.

I have always been terrified of the dentist. It had been years since I last went. I went to Oasis and, honestly, had a lovely experience. Everyone was extremely nice, caring, professional, and talented. I cannot recommend this place enough (especially to people who have a fear of the dentist haha).

BEST DENTISTRY EVER!!! Growing up in the military, I have been too numerous dentists and Oasis is by far the best! The level on detail and consideration to patient comfort was amazing. My cleaning was painless and the staff was very personable. Highly recommend!!!
