Dr. Patton graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN with a Bachelors of Health Science. During her sophomore year she founded the Purdue University Timmy Global Health Foundation in order to share her love for missions, medicine, and global awareness with the student population. She traveled to Ecuador and Honduras leading students, physicians, dentists, nurses, physical therapists, and pharmacists to create remote clinics aiding in forming a revolving system in which groups now travel to the same sites four times a year to provide continuity of care.
Dr. Patton attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Louisville, KY. She traveled to Kenya, Africa her Freshman year as a medical missionary with Dr. David Stevens, Christian Medical and Dental Association CEO with Global Health Outreach. She also traveled as a missionary dentist with her husband to Ethiopia, Africa her Senior year with Dr. Samuel Molind, Director of Global Health Outreach.
Dr. Chelsey Patton completed advanced training at University Hospital in Louisville, KY as a General Practice Resident following graduation from dental school. Dr. Patton has advanced education and training in comprehensive general dentistry within both an ambulatory and hospital environment with certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Category II- hard/soft tissue laser certification, and management of dental and medical emergencies.
Her residency training included advanced procedures in oral surgery, endodontic, periodontic, restorative, and implant placement surgery taught in outpatient clinics and in the operating room under general anesthesia.
Dr. Patton is happily married to Dr. William Farmer, an equine veterinarian, and together have two beautiful baby girls. She enjoys spending her time with her husband, daughters, and two dogs. Chelsey loves the Lord and wants Him to be glorified in all she does as a wife, mother, and dentist.
Danielle is a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, but has been calling Louisville home for 12 years. She is a graduate of Western Kentucky University's Dental Hygiene program in 2018 earning the class title of The Golden Scaler, exhibiting high competency in all aspects of clinical dental hygiene! She enjoys spending time away from work doing anything outdoors, including hiking, camping and kayaking. Danielle had a passion for dentistry from a young age because she loves to see the ways that a beautiful, healthy smile can boost a person's confidence and overall quality of life!
Liz joined the Oasis family in June, 2018. She is from Louisville, KY and has lived in Jeffersontown for most of her life. She graduated from the dental hygiene program at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2010. Lizs interest in the dental field began as a young child, seeing her dad practice as a dentist in Louisville. She would often go to work with her parents and was intrigued by the hygienists role. She loves educating patients on the importance of their oral health and helping them have a healthy, beautiful smile.
Liz has been married to Roy since 2012 and they have two, precious little ones, Scarlett Rose and Cylas James. In her free-time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to church, eating out, shopping, and walking her beagle, Sophie.
Shari joined Oasis Family Dentistry in December 2016. She graduated from ATA College receiving her EDDA(expanded duties dental assistant), coronal polishing & radiation certifications from the University of Louisville and has been working closely with patients now for over 10 years.
Amanda Dees is one of the first people to greet you when you come into Oasis Family. She is the newest to the team but has been coming to Oasis Family Dentistry for six years since moving here from Wyoming. She has four children, one who has already moved out of the house and the youngest being 7 years old. She is married to her husband for almost twenty years now.
Amanda is a Certified Surgical Technologist and will be graduating with her Bachelor in Health Science in July of 2020. She loves traveling, especially when it is to the beach. In her spare time, she is usually doing some type of youth sport with one of her kids. She considers God and family her number one priority. She loves working with patients and being part of a professional team.
Laurna joined our team in 2018. She Graduated with her Expanded Duties Dental Assistant Certification from MedQuest in 2018. She decided to join the dental field because she wanted to make a positive impact on peoples lives.
