Dr. Fung is the best! I had an implant placed at his office. I was very anxious about getting it done, but my experience was wonderful. I felt little to no pain during the procedure and it has healed perfectly. I'm glad I chose this clinic for my care.

I really wanted to like this place because I wanted to support businesses in my community but unfortunately I did not have a good experience. The assistant that takes X-rays of your teeth was kind of rude. She kept placing the equipment in my mouth in a way that wasn't sitting well and then became frustrated with me because of it. She blamed me that i was moving and that it's my fault that the X-rays weren't coming out right. Then she just gave up and didn't finish taking my X-rays. Also, I had to use the restroom and she denied me access, even though it was an emergency, she told me that they don't allow clients to use their bathroom and that I had 10mins to go out and look for one. I was lucky enough to find an establishment a block away that let me use their facilities, he said he normally only lets customers use it but after explaining my situation he sympathized, even he said that it was a jerkish move to deny restroom access to their own clients. Anyways, at least the receptionist and dentist were decent.

I have been going to Dr. Fung for years, since he was in his Bayside office. When he moved it was a hassle to have to go to his new office but I honestly could not imagine ever going to anyone else again. I don't like going to the dentist because of severe tooth sensitivity and every cleaning is always something I dread. He is the first dentist to somehow make it a pleasant experience. He takes the extra time to use other instruments that take longer to clean the teeth but don't cause that sharp unbearable pain that I thought was inevitable. He has become our family dentist and my husband, his brother, his parents and my parents all go to him and rave about him as well. They have had extractions and fillings done for various reasons and always been very pleased. He is very personable but, most importantly, he is very professional and excellent at his job. I trust his judgment, especially because he gives recommendations and does not push procedures if you don't want them, unlike other dentists I have been to in the past. I highly recommend going to Dr. Fung. You can trust him with your teeth and I sincerely hope he never moves away because I will have to follow him wherever he goes.

My experience was horrible..I should've changed my mind the first time I walked in ..the receptionist were rude and cold.. nobody should go through this nobody!! Had a tooth pulled whent into my appointment waited 45 min in pain got up twice to ask how much longer she was so rude they called in a person before me he was talking and talking and flirting with one of the assistants finally they called me in .. the dentist owner" when I saw him I was very nervous he seemed fresh faced out of dentistry I wanted to walk out but I wanted the tooth out so I clearly told him Iam very nervous i haven't been to the dentist in a while instead of making me feel at ease he started telling me my tooth would fall apart in the process of extraction..that day everything that could've gone wrong DID my advice if you're gut tells you it don't feel right then listen!!! First he was the only one there while I was there at least two waiting and 3 Inside getting stuff done a lady was getting an extraction done and another guy In the next room he kept taking and talking so did the assistant,,very distracting.. he kept going back and forth from patient to patient I DID NOT feel comfortable with that especially with the covid19. So he begins extraction seemed like forever he kept JABBING me with novacain I guess because I was so nervous it wasn't numbing me.. he kept pulling on my tooth it would come out it was falling apart and his inexperience assistant wasn't positioned the suction correctly I was swallowing all my decaying fillings I didn't want to complain I was afraid of them being more rude to me I just wanted to get it over with .. then my hands starts getting sweaty and I felt cold I felt weak I finally said I feel strange I was shaking so hard in That seat I felt like I was going to pass out he still continues the. Stoped for a second whent behind the dividers he started walking back and forth mumbling walked back numb me again and when back to the lady next to me.. Then started again I said I feel strange Iam nervous HE DID NOT EVEN CARE.. then one of the assistant was leaving. She come in and has a full blown conversation with him as he is pulling on my tooth and he is japping and japping right over my face 15 minutes I was moving my head around letting him know I was uncomfortable..and the conversation had nothing to do with work so unprofessional!!! He finally pulled it out and said WHAT A WAY TO BRING IN THE NEW YEAR!! With a banG OMG! At this point I was shaking then he says you're sugar might have dropped.. it was too long it was the stress of the extraction..can it GET ANYWORST HE THEN TELLS ME GO DOWN THE STREET AND GET some candy .. or orange juice ..ARE YOU KIDDING ME .. I had to call someone to pick me up I was sick after I left.. then I was calling my ride and that receptionist told me put you're mask on !!!never not once did she of he ask me was I ok..they truly rushed me out the the back to sit in waiting area because they was cleaning and they was rushing to go home horrible!!! I was bleeding so much and REAL DENTAL OFFICES AND PROFESSIONAL DENTIST KNOW THAT COTTON COMPRESSION AFTER EXTRACTION HAS TO BE IN PLACE 30 min that assistant put cotton in my mouth twice in less then 30 min .. told me spit it out here ..AND BECAUSE OF THAT THE CLOT DID NOT FORM CAUSING A DRY SOCKET ... I finally whent home on the second day WAS GETTING EXCRUCIATING PAIN I THOUGHT IT WAS NORMAL..I couldn't take it anymore I finally called the office the nerve of her to tell me he had nothing available after me begging her she finally said come as emergency walk-in I RELUCTANTLY GO BACK..got there I had to use the bathroom she said no because he could get closed down or lose his liscense if she let me use the bathroom I told her it was a long ride I can't hold it she said go outside down the Block to the restaurant!!!! I told her Iam a patient and the treatment you guys are given me is unexceptable .. Dr David and his staff is the best. Muy amables. Office is very clean and modern. Bathroom has this cool mirror. Dr David was very thorough in his explanations and honest in his evaluation what I need for my teeth. My teeth felt so clean afterwards and the dental chairs were massage chairs. I didn't want to leave. Highly recommend!

Dr. Fung is amazing,our family will continue to go there! My daughter (8yrs) is relatively hard to deal with and stubborn compared with her twins brothers. I got a throughly consultation but couldn't got thing done because my daughter wouldn't open her month. I asked Dr. Fung give me a while to talk to my daughter but still in vain, while the whole time the Doctor and the staffs were still very nice, no one's face showed any impatience,but I decided to make another visit next time. Before the next time visit, my husband and I kept reminding my daughter what would happen when we visit dentist next time "EVERYDY"!! At the second visiting, Dr Fung explained every steps what he would do to her teeth with a funny, easy, kids way...FINALLY everything is done now. Thank you Dr Fung, and so glad we have a long term Dental office now again! (The reason why I choose family dental instead of pediatric dental is because all the pediatric dental with good reviews have to wait up to 2 months, I can't wait that long. ) I am so pleased we found Dr Fung !

The doctor is very professional, he explains everything in details, the girls are all very nice and attentive, I was given an appointment right away same day i called, had a root canal done, no pain what so ever and even though they didn't accept my insurance it didn't cost me a fortune to get it done! I would highly recommend this dental office and even if i have to pay I will keep coming here! Im transfering all my family members here! Thank you Oasis for your professionalism and courtesy!

The doctors and staff here are first class and the office itself is as well. I have referred my friends and family here and we all agree that we get honest evaluations and there's never any pressure to accept treatment on the spot. I wish this office nothing but the best.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Fung and this practice. I've seen many dentists over the years, and can definitely say that he can easily beat the competition in Manhattan. He truly cares about his patients, is very gentle when working on you, and very patient when addressing all your concerns. You'd be hard pressed to find a better dentist in NYC or Long Island. If you are even remotely nearby, book an appointment here and you will see what I mean. Finding great healthcare providers is so difficult, and I'm so appreciative that Dr. Fung was able to help me. His demeanor and knowledge was able to put me immediately at ease.
