In many health care delivery systems, patients and doctors often experience restricted choices with regard to their treatment due to limitations of insurance plans. In this situation, neither patient nor doctor is free to choose the best treatment. Therefore, I encourage everyone to read and understand their plans benefits and restrictions, but also understand that while those benefits are helpful, they may not fully address the best choices for their health. I strive to create an environment where we can choose the best treatment plan that is consistent to patients needs, wants, values, and overall wellness. I am sure that everyone is well aware of how dental health can affect and have strong correlation to a persons overall wellness. Therefore, my treatment plan will reflect the identification of harmful factors, explain consequences of non-treatment in both the short and long term, and include recommendation of bio-compatible material. I believe that knowledge is the root of rational decision and action; therefore, I prefer to take time to ensure that every patient understands their treatment needs. My goal is not to just focus on one individual problem but to guide everyone towards long term happiness and health in dental care.
Doctor Gwen Huynh was born in Saigon, Vietnam and then moved with her family to United States. At first, she resided in Hawaii but then she moved to California to complete research and her bachelor degree at UCLA. She then went on to attend Dental School at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon graduating dental school, she completed residency at St. Vincent Charity Hospital also in Cleveland, Ohio. She finally moved to Arizona and decided to settle here. Dr. Huynh has served as the senior managing doctor for a large dental practice and collaborated with several private practices before founding Oasis Dentistry.She currently lives in Peoria, AZwith her husband Baron and two dogs Akela (Basenji/Collie mix) and Nali (Miniature Schnauzer).

This is actually my first ever Google review, but I had to write one for the entire Oasis Dentistry team. Dr. Huynh is by far one of the best dentists I've ever had. She truly takes the time to answer all my concerns and questions and really explain everything. She is very professional and caring. The dental hygienist and the front desk team are very friendly, professional, and helpful. I have been going to Oasis Dentistry for the past few years and truly love being a patient here.

The whole staff at Oasis dentistry is so kind and pleasant. In light of our current pandemic, the office appeared very clean and all the protocols for safety were visually evident. I love the electronic text reminders for my appointment. Dawn, Danielle and Dr Huynh are all deserving of the 5 star rating.

I have been going to Oasis for at least 4 years. As I was having my teeth cleaned today; I thought how lucky I was to finally find a Dentist that cares. The entire team is great! You will never be sorry that you made an appointment here. You will feel at home.

From the initial phone call to their office, to the in-office visit, EVERYTHING was absolutely the best. Their professionalism and care was nothing short of spectacular for my daughter and I. If you need a dentist, you can stop looking. This is the one you want.

Everyone is always helpful. Staff knows their responsibilities. Always tells me my responsibilities for payment. Dr. Hunhyg always informs on dental advice. Overall, great experience with no problems in 10 years of service. Dr. Hung tries to give a fair cost for work needed.

I highly recommend Oasis Dentistry. Everybody from the front office staff, to the dental hygienist, to the Dentist was so incredibly friendly. I have anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist and they helped calm my nerves. They really take the time to hear your concerns/fears and help you feel comfortable. It was a great experience. I am so blessed to have found this office!

Dr. Huyn is absolutely the BEST!! She was so compassionate as to see me during her lunch break to replace my broken crown, because that was the only time I could come in. I am so grateful to her. And she was painless and fast. My mouth feels back to normal!! I had the same crown replaced 2 days ago by someone else and it was uncomfortable until it finally fell out today. I highly recommend Dr. Huyn for all your dental needs!!!

I love Oasis Dentistry! All the staff are extremely warm, friendly & helpful. Dr. Hyunh is very knowledgeable, thorough & skilled. She always takes time to answer any questions or concerns I have too. The office is a small, individual practice where my family feels known. Such a nice change from most huge corporate businesses where one feels like a number. When we moved to town having always been faithful with our every-6-month cleanings and check-ups in our old state, Dr. Huynh quickly identified small issues our old dentist had overlooked. This was hard to take at first, but I soon learned to trust her. We're grateful she caught things that saved us bigger issues in the long-term. Now I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend Oasis Dentistry.
