Great staff and service!! I got my wisdom teeth removed under complete sedation. I felt no pain at all on the day of surgery. I am on day 2 and I still have almost zero pain. I never thought it would be that easy. I was nervous for nothing lol. All of my future dental surgeries will definitely take place at Oakwood!!

I've been a frequent "customer" of Dr Beale's office due to bad dental genetics no matter how good I take care of my teeth and visit my dentist. However, I've had multiple teeth extracted over the past few years. Never have had a bad experience or complications. The staff are extremely kind and friendly, not only with patients but even interacting with one another. Dr Beale also recommended a new dentist to our family after we moved (3yrs ago) and she is phenomenal!

My son had an accident at school and knocked a tooth out. Was not sure if it was a baby tooth or adult tooth. He has never seen dr Beale before. I called his office and his staff is absolutely amazing. They got me in that same day. The whole time everyone was very friendly, helpful, and reassuring. I of course was panicked as I wasn't sure what would happen. It ended up being a baby tooth fortunately but they did thorough X-rays to ensure no damage was done to permanent teeth. So thankful that his daycare teacher referred us here and they took so great care of us physically and mentally! LOL. A few stitches in the forehead and a sore mouth but my son will heal with no permanent damage! also shout out for printing out his X-ray because it's now his show and tell item and he thinks it is the coolest thing ever!

Dr. Beale was very gentle and made me feel comfortable and relaxed before my extraction. His staff was also very friendly and made the whole experience much less stressful and it went very smooth. My aftercare instructions were explained in detail and all my questions were answered throughly. Highly recommend for any oral surgery or implants needing done.

I've never been one to post reviews on sites but I remember being extremely nervous for my wisdom teeth removal and reading through all the reviews of previous patients...so hopefully this is helpful to someone out there! Its been a week since I got all three of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Beale and while wisdom teeth removal isn't the most fun, the staff was absolutely amazing to me! When I met for my consultation I explained to them the anxiety I had about the procedure and they happily answered all of my many many questions. Since this was my first ever surgery, first time being sedated and even my first time getting an IV, my anxiety was through the roof. The staff was very very calm, patient and comforting with me and constantly reassured me that I would be taken care of. They talked me through every part of the sedation and let my mother stay in the room with me until I was asleep as requested. Then before I knew it I was awake in recovery and headed home shortly after. After surgery the staff answered every single one of my questions via phone and was very helpful with the recovery process. I definitely recommend Dr. Beale and his team to anyone who is nervous, anxious or just worried about wisdom teeth removal. If an event that future work is needed, I'll definitely be returning to them! Thank you Dr. Beale and staff, you all were so good to me!

I NEVER post reviews.....HOWEVER.....long story short, since COVID-19 I am terrified of the dentist......and a common side effect of Gastric Bypass Surgery is bad teeth.......I've NEVER liked the dentist because of bad experiences......but I had 2 teeth break, they have both previously had a root canal......at first no pain and didn't really bother me...and I was going to put it off as long as I can since I just started a new job.........then that changed last week when.....the one broke off at the gym line (about 6 months ago) and the other chipped on an edge and also cracked (last week)...and the pain and migraines started.......so I called my dentist, Dr. Callen......they got me in and took a look......I love that his office caters to my anxiety and NEVER gives me a hard time about not being there regularly because he knows my situation. He knew they would need to come out....soon.....put me on an antibiotic and something light for the pain on Wednesday........by Thursday night it was worse......Friday I had a migraine ALL day....called the dentist back but my dentist was out until Monday but wanted me to add another antibiotic to the amoxicillin I was already taking...that started helping take the edge off the pain within 3 doses.......the first oral surgeon I scheduled with couldn't get me in for the consultation (which is mandatory when being put to sleep for dental work) until Thursday, April 21st......that no longer was going to work for me.......the girls at Dr. Callen's office called Dr. Beale at Oakwood Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery office.......they fit me in at the end of the day yesterday and at first sight he thought it might be a rough extraction for me and changed the schedule around a bit to get me in TODAY.......I was still placed under anesthesia because I have insane anxiety at the dentist now and it was possible that the one may need to be "cut out"......this evening I am Praising God that I was led to Dr. Beale's office!! I walked out of his office without any type of stitches or incisions because BOTH teeth came out smoothly!!!! I would 100% recommend Dr. Christopher Beale and his team!! They were VERY accommodating and made me feel 100% at ease, not rushed at all and I completely trusted them!! I will return if I EVER need care of that nature again!! Thank you Dr. Beale, your office team and your treatment team 10 out of 10 recommend Oakwood Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery on Lexington Ave

I had my wisdom teeth removed about two weeks ago and was very impressed with the staff! Dr. Beale was honest, professional. I was really worried about passing out when they put in IV but they took care of me! Even in the recovery room they were amazing after surgery.

I went in for a tooth extraction, the staff were very professional and friendly. Dr.Beale was very proficient. I freak out at the dentist, and the woman that assisted, Anna, was wonderful so kind, patient and caring. It would have been a much more stressful experience without her.

In October I went for wisdom teeth extraction, at 28 years old, and was absolutely terrified. When I went for my consultation and met with Christopher his confidence put my fear at ease. The staff was absolutely wonderful and made this scary situation the best experience that it could be. I will most definitely be recommending him.

I am typically not one to review but I feel something needs to be said. The staff is wonderful. They are all very capable & kind. However, we won't return. I have visited this office twice in the past few months with my father. The first visit there were small children literally running and screaming down the hallways. I was ran into by a small child while waiting for the restroom. Our most recent visit was worse. The staff was tripping over infant items while trying to run an obviously busy office. A woman at the front desk was nursing a baby while checking patients out. The staff was trying to answer the phone and deal with patients while the baby was screaming. Complete chaos. Very inconsiderate to your patients and other staff members. This is obviously a normal day for this office. Very unprofessional.

Took my 13 year old daughter to have a baby tooth extracted and I was not allowed in because of covid and she has anxiety and very scared and crying and my daughter came running out 15 minutes later and he never extracted the tooth because she was so upset and scared. I wasn't mad until I found out she told me he was completely rude and grew frustrated and told her to grow up not sure what kind of doctor talks to a scared little girl with her parents not around like that. So I went in and asked if I could schedule another appointment and have her put under and they told me no. I had myself had my wisdom teeth cut out 5 year ago by him and woke up mid surgery I would not recommend this doctor at all has zero people skills and obviously has no idea how to deal with scared children. Not sure why they couldn't have called me from my truck and had me come in and calm her down so the tooth could get extracted.

Had some extractions done here recently. Great place with a friendly staff. One of the assistants was an absolute babe too. It was awesome!

I went here at the end of December to get my wisdom teeth taken out because my parent's dentist referred me...The nurse I had was not very nice , she wouldn't let me talk at all coming out of the anesthesia even though I had no idea what was going on and I was trying to ask questions. I understand you are suppose to try not to talk but she was very rude about it. When I talked to them on phone there was a lot of miscommunication about insurance coverage and when the payment was due. When I went in for surgery they told me I had to pay the $1,700 up front when I had planned for my mom to come later and pay it . Mind you they also told us our medical insurance would reimburse us some money if we just paid it in full up front, because they took my medical ins card. I was very frustrated with this. We didn't get anything back from our medical ins. Because they weren't in the network , so it would of been nice to know that instead of paying it all ...I don't recommend this place and I will not be going back. Replying back to my "confusion"...maybe if your office wouldn't of made it super confusing I wouldn't of BEEN. I understood that MY MEDICAL ins was not going to cover it ALL, but it would be nice to know they weren't going to cover ANYTHING?? That was the point. I get that I did not have dental coverage....wasn't even just the fact of the ins, it was the rude nurses and the patient care as well.

My husband recently got his wisdom teeth removed here and I couldn't recommend them more! The office staff is so sweet and answered all my questions, helped me get my husband to our vehicle after his surgery, and gave me all the instructions I needed for after care! Love this office & staff! Keep up the great work guys!
