Dr. Scholes is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has advanced training in Invisalign and Cerec and enjoys taking continuing education classes. He is always looking for opportunities to advance his clinical skills and better serve his patients with the most up to date, efficient, and effective dental care.
Dr. Sant discovered his passion for dentistry after observing the detrimental effects of poor dental care while living in the Philippines, where many people suffered constant oral pain and felt shame about the appearance of their damaged teeth. Dentistry is instrumental in maintaining not only optimal oral health and overall systemic wellbeing but also ones self-esteem and dignity.
My mission in dentistry is to improve lives by providing exceptional treatment using the best techniques, treatments, and technology to elevate oral health, build beautiful smiles, and boost my patients self-esteem and confidence. I want all of my patients to enjoy healthy, happy smiles and share them freely with the world.
Dr. Sant is dedicated to professional excellence through continuing education and advanced training. During his time in Residency, the St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic was recognized by Henry Schein, a leading dental supplier in the United States, as the 'best charity clinic in the country' for their outstanding efforts to serve the homeless and working poor through comprehensive dental care. Dr. Sant has since acquired hundreds of additional continuing education hours in surgery, bone grafting, and implant treatment.
Away from the office, Dr. Sant loves spending time with his wife and their three children. In his free time, he enjoys exercising, listening to music, reading, and playing or watching sports. One of his favorite dental experiences has been providing dental exams for the Chicago Cubs during spring training in Mesa, AZ.

I was in excruciating pain and picked Oakwood off the internet in desperation because my dentist would not even answer the phone. This was the best dental experience I have ever had by far. I am kind of dental phobic and was hurting so bad... and they took me in within an hour. Everyone was as nice and pleasant as could be. They made certain I was comfortable and we're very accommodating. They were very helpful on follow-up calls as well. They even helped me with the finances! Now have a new dentist office! I am referring all my friends as well! Thank you so much, Dr. Scholes and your entire staff.

The dental facility is very clean, modern and attractive.The personnel and the dentists are professional, attentive and polite. I was able to get an appointment right away and was seen on time.

Overall the care was ok the issue I have is that it's a conveyor belt where patient requests are dismissed. If you don't want x-rays they refuse to serve you so me and my entire family left the practice. It's a shame bc it's a lose lose for both parties. Patient care is no longer a personal experience but rather a check list :(

This morning, l woke up wondering... "How am l going to chose a new dentist?" My new insurance co. gave me some names of dentist's in-network. But l also had an emergency. Come to find out, l needed a tooth extracted. Tonight, l feel 100% satisfaction of what could have been a nightmare. Instead, everyone (apart of this team) made it easy for me to do business with them. They made same day time for me, welcomed me, identified what was wrong, fixed it and even accomodated a financial payment plan. Thank you so much....and the extraction went perfect.. thank you for being kind and gentle.

This practice never bothered telling me they no longer are a network dentist when i made an appointment. My co-pay was higher. I received payment from my insurance company and put it in the bank. With COVID my salary was cut in half. Having challenges paying my bills. What does this office do? Sent me to collections!!!!

Shelly was amazing! So very professional, intelligent and compassionate .I had no pain, for she listened to my needs of struggling with dental procedures , and provided topical lidocaine to make everything easy . The experience was awesome! My teeth are cleaned and I've rescheduled !

No long waits which is great. Everyone is very friendly -- from the receptionist to my dental hygienist then to my dentist for his final check. I have been going to a combination of this dental group since the late 1970's when they were located in Tempe and have never thought about changing.
