Dr. Brandt Jones is a Colorado native. He grew up in Denver, where he attended John F. Kennedy High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in 2001 and graduated with honors from the University of Colorado in 2005, receiving his DDS degree.
Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Jones has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education courses, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care available. Dr. Jones received the title 'Best of the Best' in Douglas County in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2018 from the Colorado Community Media and his loyal patients.
Dr. Michael Zendig grew up in Evergreen, Colorado where he attended Evergreen High School. He obtained his Commercial Aviation degree while interning for Northwest Airlines, and then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2012, receiving his DMD.
Dr. Zendig attended a General Practice Residency at Denver Health Hospital where he enhanced his skills in: oral surgery, root canal therapy, gum surgery and developed a passion for operating room dentistry. Prior to joining the Oakwood Dental team, he was in a group practice in Aurora, Colorado.
Dr. Zendig, his wife (Rachel), and daughter (Rowen) moved to Castle Pines, Colorado where he sought to join a practice that aligned with his desire for perfection and is also located within a community he loves. They welcomed baby girl Maren in November 2020. When he isnt practicing dentistry, Dr. Zendig enjoys traveling,skiing, hiking, and spending time with his family.
Originally from Nebraska, Lexi attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln and has lived in Castle Rock since 2004. She joined the Oakwood Dental Team in July of 2016, and has years of experience with dental insurance.
I love being able to work in the same community my family and I live and thrive in. Being close to home, my kids school, and their many extracurricular activities is so convenient and makes the work/life balance so much easier.
Lexi loves spending time with her husband and two teenage kids. They enjoy sightseeing in Colorado and anywhere else they happen to visit. Lexis family are huge football fans and love going to Broncos games whenever they get the chance.They also love to take family vacations to visit extended family in Minnesota and Nebraska every year.
Maria enjoys spending her free time with her three daughters, when their busy schedules allow it. She has 2 dogs, a black lab named Bear and a Shiba Inu puppy named Kylo. Her happy place is Tulum, Mexico and she likes to travel there at least twice a year to enjoy the wonderful food and culture.
Kelsie has been a hygienist since 2014. She joined the Oakwood Dental team in May of 2021. She is a Colorado native who grew up in Lamar. Kelsie values her time with her husband, son, dogs and family. In her free time, she enjoys reading and crafting.
Liz graduated from the Utah College of Dental Hygiene in 2011. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Texas where she has practiced dental hygiene for the past ten years. Liz and her family recently relocated from Austin to Castle Rock. Liz & her husband and two daughters are enjoying being near the mountains and exploring their new state!
Courtnie joined Oakwood Dental in April of 2015, and is our Lead Dental Assistant, having earned her certificate from the Colorado School of Dental Assisting (CDA), and completed Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) training with Dr. Brandt Jones.

Her family is the center of Courtnie's free time, with seven-year-old daughter Abbigail and two-year-old son Levi. She also loves all things outdoors and enjoys exploring the mountains, riding bikes, and swimming.
Kasey began her time with Oakwood Dental during her externship from Concorde Career College in February of 2021. She was such an amazing addition to the team, and we offered her a full time position in March of 2021.

My 4 yr old had to have some very extensive dental work. Dr. Jones was so good with her, she keeps asking when we get to go back to the dentist! I have a family of 5 and we all see Dr. Jones. We have been to see him many many times and have always had excellent care both by Dr. Jones and his staff.

Dr Z is amazing! I'm one who struggles with dental anxiety he always makes me feel at ease. I had to do a crown on Friday it was super easy and quick I was able to watch a little Netflix and hang out. I think it's absolutely life-changing that they make the crown in the office so it's all done in one appointment. I am a couple days since the appointment I did not experience any pain or discomfort the office is amazing the whole entire staff is friendly and welcoming highly recommend !

From the moment I walk in to the office, I experience A+ customer service. I'm greeted by name by the check in desk; It feels warm and welcoming. Sara and I catch up for about 1 min, which feels comforting and appropriate. She cleans my teeth while treating me like a human being and not just a patient. Though the dentist is quickly in and out for my check up, he is very personable, delivers helpful information, doesn't try to sell me things I don't want/need. He doesn't seemed rushed in our interaction. I appreciate how the culture of this office shines through every person that works there! Thank you Oakwood Dental!

Professional and super friendly. My daughters love going to the dentist, which makes me love it too. I've never had to have a major dental procedure done, thank goodness, but everyone I hear that has one from Dr. Brandt Jones is super impressed...like my husband who broke off a front tooth. We have a friend who's also a dentist, and when he saw my husband's fake tooth that Dr. Jones put in he had to ask which one it was and was amazed how well done it is. Update: Still love going to Dr. Jones. I now have my son going in for cleanings and checkups too. Oakwood Dental staff are very good at making all three of my kids (and me) feel comfortable and safe. They are great about encouraging good brushing habits for prevention, but also great when dental problems do happen...like when my son chipped his tooth jumping on the trampoline. Thank goodness for Dr. Jones!

Broke my husbands tooth after root canal. Then got mad and frustrated over the phone and refused to fix their mistake. He could get an infection. Customer service isn't their strong suit nor is passionate care. We will not be back nor will I recommend them. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Somehow my charge didn't go through on my bill when leaving the office, and a month later when they tried to collect they would not honor my $100 new patient discount. I was charged 279 for a cleaning, the most I've ever paid. They also sent it to collections and wouldn't drop 100 off after a year! Do not go to this place. They will rip you off.

Entire staff is committed to exceptional customer service. Very friendly from the moment you walk in. They are observing strict safety measures. Dr. Brant is very conscious of patient comfort and he is extremely skilled. Highly recommended this dentist.

Professional, very knowledgeable and compassionate staff. I have an unusual fear of visiting the dentist but I was immediately comfortable with them. They took the time and explained everything and ensured that my experience was as pain free and as pleasant as possible. The entire staff, including dentists work together as a cohesive team, and after my first procedure, it was clear, that this would be my permanent home for all of our dental work.

Oakwood is a just a truly phenomenal dental practice. Dr. Jones did two significant implants from a prior trauma experience and I couldn't be more happier with the results! The entire office staff is warm and friendly. They never disappoint on their dedication to patient care and comfort. It's clear the happiness of the staff and overall pleasant environment is indicative of great place for family dentistry. Their new Dentist, Dr. Zendig aka "Dr. Z" was an excellent addition to Oakwood. Just like Dr. Jones, Dr. Z is extremely professional, personable and caring (and funny). I can't imagine going anywhere other than Oakwood Dental and highly recommend them!

My experience at Oakwood Dental was one of the best healthcare experiences I've had. Their services were outstanding and the recommended treatment moving forward was reasonable and only what I need. Dr. Michael Zendig and Sara Jayne are extremely knowledgeable and educate you throughout your visit. I didn't leave there with any questions and they gained my trust after one visit. Lexi at the front was extremely helpful as well.

I can't say enough positive praise for Oakwood Dental; every aspect has exceeded what I was used to from any other dentist! From scheduling to leaving, my experience was smooth---their office operates like a well-oiled machine. In the hands of my hygienist, Kathy, I felt safe, relaxed, and under professional care. She took extra effort to explain what came up, like the X-rays, techniques she was using, or potential problems she found, rather than assuming I wouldn't understand the terminology, which actually meant a lot to me. She answered my many questions, joked with me, and offered suggestions for better tooth care. I actually had to make myself stop smiling so she could do her job easier. The cleaning was as painless as it could be, too, as her work is exceptional after 20 years. Kathy is my favorite!!! Dr. Jones was as well top-notch and it was comforting to get his final say on some things that came up... I will be going back to get more work done, presumably under his care, and will update this review after so. Usually I don't look forward to the dentist, but Oakwood Dental has changed this. :)
