Dr. Sindelar graduated with highest honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he earned a Doctorate of Dental Sciences. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Dr. Sindelar is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Missouri Dental Association and Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an honorary dental society. Hes also a member of the American Academy of Sleep Dentistry and regularly participates in continuing education on sleep dentistry. Dr. Sindelar is also a member of the Spear Study Club, an international educational organization for restorative and cosmetic dentists.
Dr. Sindelar believes that strong relationships are fundamental to excellent patient care, and this includes relationships with specialists as well as patients themselves. He works with many of the top specialists in the area, and prides himself on bringing the right team of professionals together to deliver the best experience and results possible.
He strives to provide top-notch service in all aspects of dental care, taking a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Sindelar loves creating gorgeous smiles and helping patients look and feel their best.
Dr. Sindelar grew up in the Oakville area and currently resides in Sunset Hills with his wife, Janna, an elementary school teacher, and their children, Jackson (11), Addison (9), and Emily (6). He enjoys supporting local charities, community sports teams, and the Make A Wish Foundation. Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Sindelar had a career of sorts in patient care. As a high school student, he dressed up as Percy the Mercy Bear to entertain children at St. Johns Hospital.

Ken saw Dr Sindelar. Both the technician and doctor were friendly and professional as always. Fixed his cracked front tooth with no problem. Been going to Oakville dental since 1977. Great care every time.

I could not be happier with Oakville Dental Care! Prior to switching to them, I was with my previous dentist/practice for 35 years and after the first visit to ODC, I quickly realized that my last dentist was very "vanilla." ODC has amazing hygienists and dentists and their facility is state of the art. I highly recommend Oakville Dental Care to anyone in need of dental services!!

I just wanted to start out by saying from the time I walked in and from the time I walked out of that office was just wonderful. The ladies at the Front Desk Patti & Julie were great! My Hygienist Becky did such an amazing job! Dr. Guilfoy also was wonderful and very reassuring. His assistants were also great and very helpful. I would recommend this office to anyone and everyone. Definitely will be coming back!

I have anxiety about going to the dentist. Oakville Dental Care made me feel comfortable and safe. They walked me through every step and explained what they were doing. They answered my questions and gave me pointers on how to improve my health.

I have not had the pleasure of having any work done here but I can tell you this dental office is top notch. It's looks beautiful inside and State of the art. The staff was very nice and willing to help out. I would definitely come here if I stayed this way but will definitely recommend anyone I know that loves here to come here. Good place for all ages . Good work on this location and staff a big thumbs up. I can tell you really care about your customers/ patients.

What a wonderful experience! Everyone I encountered was very thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. This was my first visit, so it took 2 hours! They talk to you and explain everything they are going to do. Then they proceed to take what they call a 'photo shoot' where they take MANY pictures of your teeth from every angle. These are used to show you what work you may need now or in the future. So very relaxing and comforting knowing they are dedicated to giving you a good experience. I highly recommend this entire group of people.

Had to switch from my South County dentist due to him moving on and out of the area. I landed on Oakville Dental based on numerous great reviews and feedback from friends. I have been extremely happy with that decision. They were recently able to fit me in on very short notice to fix a tooth emergency and put me at ease.

Their treatment plans for each patient are always explained completely. They make the patient feel comfortable and well cared for. Always a smile and a warm welcome. I've been a patient at Oakville Dental Care for 45 years.

Normally I do not like dentists. But I love this one. I have been going to this office since I was a teenager and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I feel secure knowing that my teeth is being taken care of and that they will do all they can to make this as painless as possible. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I am even willing to pay out of network fees for this dentist too. That is saying a lot. Give them a try!
