Oaks Point Pediatric Dentistry is a family owned practice and is under the direction of husband and wife duo Dr. Christopher Chance, a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, and Dr. Courtney Jacocks Chance, a General Dentist. The two met each other while attending a dental conference in which their individual dental schools sent them as representatives and have since then married, had a beautiful baby girl, and founded Oaks Point in the Spring of 2020. The practice offers a variety of services to care for primary (childrens) teeth and permanent teeth including preventative dentistry, oral health exams, restorative dentistry, sedation dentistry, emergency dental care, and lip and tongue ties. Using only the latest evidence-based practices and procedures, Oaks Points execution delivers the most effective and long-lasting results. Patients comfort and customer satisfaction remain at the focus of their business model. They look forward to giving exceptional dental care to the Greater Heights area including Garden Oaks and Oak Forest communities.
Position: Owner/ Board certified Pediatric Dentist Hometown: Queens, New York but moved around quite a bit throughout his childhood including living in New Jersey, Maryland, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Dr. Chance feels these experiences afford him the prospective of being able to relate to a multitude of people. Education: University of Kentucky (Lexington, Kentucky) in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Biotechnology. He then went on to attend the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD) in 2014. Dr. Chance furthered his education by completing a 2-year residency specializing in pediatric dentistry at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Rainbow Babies Childrens Hospital (Cleveland, Ohio). Fun Facts: Spending time with his wife and daughter while keeping up with their two rambunctious pups, Marvin (Shih Tzu/Toy Poodle) and Ziggy (Golden Doodle). He also loves to travel, read, and cook.
