Dr. Talia M. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Howard University, and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through NYU. Dr. Johnson is passionate about getting to know her patients, while delivering high quality care. She has the utmost compassion for patients with dental phobia, and makes it her goal to help everyone feel comfortable while in the dental office. Dr. Johnson feels tremendous gratitude and joy doing work that she loves each day, and helping patients achieve the smile they've always desired.

Dr. Johnson currently serves on the Board of the Alameda County Dental Society, and on the Community Outreach Committee. Her memberships include the Academy of General Dentistry, the California Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She prioritizes continuing education to remain up to date on the latest dental technology and research. Dr. Johnson is also certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer, and enjoys helping patients make lifestyle changes for the benefit of their oral and overall health. Dr. Johnson is from Brooklyn, New York by way of Kalamazoo, Michigan and grew up playing tennis. She won the Michigan state championship and played Division 1 tennis for Howard University.

ICOI is the worlds largest dental implant organization and the worlds largest provider of continuing dental implant education. Dr. Perrys mentor, Dr. Carl Misch, is a world renowned implantologist. His texts are considered the gold standard for implant surgery and restoration.
