Dr. Howard Cunningham has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry for 26 years. He is licensed in Florida and New York. Dr. Cunningham trained at Long Island Medical Center and later operated the teaching clinic at Queens General Hospital. Subsequently he was in private practice in Manhasset, NY until he relocated to Fort Lauderdale in 1992.
Dr. Ryan Cifuentes grew up in the city of Hollywood, FL and has remained a Florida native his whole life.After the completion of his undergraduate degree at Florida State University, he received his doctoral training at Nova Southeastern University with an honors in oral surgery.

Dr Cunningham is one of the best dentists I've ever dealt with. His level of professionalism is bar none in the industry. He has been very patient and understanding of my needs and all at a reasonable prices. If you're in Broward make an appointment at Oakland Park Dental, you'll be happy you did.

Nobody looks forward to going to the dentist. If you have to go, this is the one to go to. From the staff, the hygienists and of course Dr. Cunningham, this is more like a friendly visit than an ordeal. A great office, always a good experience!

I love this Dental practice. They are very nice and professional. From the Receptionist up to the Doctors everyone is great. Jose Z. Is the best dental hygienist. If you need dental work or just dental maintenance this is the office to go to.

I have been going to Oakland Park Dental for about 20 years. Obviously I like and trust Dr. Cunningham and my hygienist, Alvira. Great office staff too. All are welcoming and friendly.

After moving to Ft Lauderdale, I had a bad experience with another dental group in the area. So, when I went to this office I was very hesitant. However, I was extremely pleased with Oakland. Everyone in the office was so nice and professional.....and Dr. Cunningham, well he is the best! He will be taking care of my teeth from now on.

Dental cleanings have been fine. My last dental procedure did not go well. I was in extreme pain. What made it worse, the doctor refused to see me or call me before my next scheduled appointment. I had to see another doctor to finish the root canal. I will not be going back to Oakland Park Dental.

I was nervous about having a tooth extracted. Then I was highly referred to Oakland Park Dental, by Mary, and am so grateful for the expertise, professionalism, and kindness of Dr. Cunningham, Mary, Was so kind, sweet, professional, and caring, and Ung, Cory, and shandy( I hope I correctly wrote her name), we're all extremely nice to me. The extraction was absolutely without any pain whatsoever, and when Dr. Cunningham finished the procedure, I didn't realize that the tooth was out. I will highly recommend your Office to others, and I'm so happy, for the referral to your office. Thanks you!

Had a crown put in on lower left molar. The area had been hurting a lot for a while, so getting it fixed was a good thing. Dr. Cunningham did a great job and that gum area is now pain free and flosses much more easily.
