Dr. Hamid and her staff offer the cleanest, most knowledgeable, pleasant experience anyone could have at any dentist, I have been a patient for as long as Dr. Hamid took over the practice and was a patient of Dr. Hart who had the practice previously. I travel from Lafayette for this wonderful dental practice. They treat me like family !

Needed a crown re-cemented and they got me in the same day. Their attitude is tremendous; they always let me know they will be doing and they are so nice that it makes a dentist visit a pleasure

Best bedside manner I have ever found in a dentist. Really lovely office of fabulous women. You will feel at ease, taken care of and clarity on what you need. Also great touch with the anesthesia. Highly recommend! Erica

Dr. Hamid, Krista, Bianca, all fabulous at what they do! And what they do is provide painless, professional, technically superior dentistry in a warm, human way!! You may think I am biased - well, yes I am! Because we are all now friends, for real. These folks are for real, real people who are totally committed to your health on all levels. You know that moment when your mouth is half full of instruments and fingers and then the dentist asks you an important question? Guess what? They really want to know you, so they stop the work, if possible, to find out your answer, or they remember and ask again once the mouth is clear!! Dr. Hamid and Krista are super, well rounded folks!!

This is a shock for me to write about my positive experience with a dental office because of my traumatic dental background. From 2006 - 2011 My dental office was Western Dental. They lost my moldings, charged me when they shouldn't have, took out my upper wisdom teeth prematurely, hounded me about payments, and turned a 1 year of braces to 3. I was fed up with Dentistry/Orthodontics as a whole because it seemed there was less oversight then in hospitals, and ill care. Years later at the age of 30, after nine year hiatus from getting any dental work (and much better insurance) I decided to go to a dentist again. I searched an Oakland Directory for more planet friendly Dentistry and found Oakland Green Dental. Some might say: Well you had such a horrible experience, you like ANY dental office. Not true. They are professional, on time, caring, understanding and patient. They understood and acknowledge the depth of trauma I had endured at the hands of Western Dental. I was so scared to go back to dentistry that I postponed by appointment twice. When I arrived they made me feel at ease, they helped me ease into any injections. They heard me. They showed me the different tools that look like needles but aren't. They described to me what they were doing. She even took short breaks in between the work to give my jaw some relief. It's the compassion for me. As a black non-binary person who has experienced the worst of the Dental industry, this team is bar none and should be the standard for care nationally. For those who are worried, There was no debris left on my face, they gave me chapstick so my lips wouldn't chaffe. They made sure I was ok during the whole thing by my indication of a thumbs up. At no point did I feel like the dentist or the assistant We're rude, jerking me, or carelessly handling me. I even had a cry and the dentist offered to hold my hand. I had already held the assistants hand Anyway, you'll be taken care of here. It's worth the drive if you're coming from afar.

I am just going to say it...I am petrified of the dentist. Always have been....until I met Dr. Hamid that is. She first saw my husband and he loved her. I needed a lot of work done and Dr. Hamid, Krizta and the entire office made me feel so comfortable and at ease that I am actually able to get the work done that I need. I even changed my daughters dentist to her so the whole family are now patients. She is amazing, always has a fantastic attitude and there for you whenever you need her. I am still going thru my work with Dr. Hamid but I have never been happier and can't wait to show off my smile. Thank you Dr. you have helped me change my life!

I referred to Dr. Hamid by a friend after a not too great experience with my previous dentist. I had a filling that wasn't done correctly and a crack in another tooth that was visible to the naked eye which was not caught by my previous dentist. I had gone there twice and still could not eat without pain on my left side. Dr. Hamid and Kritza were amazing and after almost a year of pain I took my first pain free bite on my left side. Thank you so much!! I am so grateful to have such an attentive team.
