Dr. Scott Jereb first became interested in dentistry while watching his father, Dr. Robert Jereb, a veterinarian in Rohnert Park, complete dental surgery on dogs and cats. Dr. Jereb's interest in dentistry continued to grow as a young patient of our founder, Dr. Alan Barton. Dr. Barton's enthusiasm and joy of the profession inspired Dr. Jereb to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr. Jereb completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a Minor in Music at the University of California, Davis. He continued his education and completed his Master of Science Degree in Cell and Molecular Microbiology at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Jereb completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco where he achieved honors in pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and community care. Dr. Jereb completed two clerkships in pediatric dentistry and endodontics and completed his internship at Burre Dental Center in Eureka, CA.
I received my Bachelors of Science degree in dental hygiene from the University of California, San Francisco. I worked for the practice before I had my two daughters, then I took time off and came back to Oakhill Dentistry in 2006. I am so happy to be a part of this happy, friendly, family oriented, quality dental practice. It is a pleasure to come to work each day. My hobbies include working out, tennis, gardening and baking.
Merrie has a unique history with our office. She worked with us twenty five years ago and left to add two children to her family. She joined our team again in 2010. She brings with her a vast knowledge in insurance and financial coordination. Always with a smile and ready to help, she is very happy to be a part of the our team. She has lived in Petaluma her entire life and attended local schools. Besides spending time with her family, friends and her two granddaughters, Merrie enjoys baking, a good book and long walks.
I am proud and fortunate to be a part of the Oakhill Dentistry team since 2004. I am very passionate about, and committed to, my patients care and comfort. We strive to offer personal care in a warm family environment.

I have been going to Oakhill Dentistry for many years. Dr. Jereb is a talented honest dentist who listens and communicates well. I have had routine care, crowns and even an implant done by Dr. Jereb. All of the work has been excellent. I highly recommend Oakhill Dentistry due to the excellent care and the professional and helpful staff.

Petaluma doesn't have quiet hours and despite being in a residential neighborhood, this office has a landscaper come ever Monday morning at 7:30 am that make a ton of noise with their leaf blowers and weed whackers. Neighbors have asked them to change the time but the office said they'll just have to deal with it. Not good neighbors.

This office is professional and the staff is so friendly. I have been going to Angela, my hygienist, for many years and she is the best! Dr. Jereb is thorough, very gentle and willing to answer all questions. I highly recommend this office for your dental needs.

Lost my dentist a while ago, and was avoiding an appointment due to Covid-19. Then, a crown popped off, so I chose Oakhill Dentistry because my son has been going there. My experience here was extremely pleasant, from the appointment-making to the reception (very Covid-19 safe!) to the actual procedure. Everything was exceptional, IMO. I'm so happy to have found a good dentist. Wish I'd gone here earlier. Highly recommended.
