When Dr. Oakes isn't practicing dentistry or attending Continuing Education classes, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, attending his children's sporting events and travelling. Dr. Oakes is an avid Duck fan, earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon. In 1997, he graduated from Oregon Health and Sciences University with a doctorate in Dentistry. Being a longtime lover of the Pacific NW, Dr. Oakes decided to build his practice in Vancouver, WA, where he has been practicing ever since.
