Barbara: Barbara is a registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from STCC in 1981 with anAssociate Degree in Dental Hygiene and is CPR and OSHA certified. She has been with Oakdale Dental Associates PC since 1987.
Marie: Marie has 48 years experience in the dental field, and joined Oakdale Dental Associates PC in 1991. She is a graduate of the STCC dental assistant program, is a DANB certified assistant, and is CPR certified, OSHA certified, and MA state licensed. She is certified in in-office tooth whitening.
After his studies at the State University of New York at Buffalo, Dr. Manohar A. Lalchandani started his own practice on August 5th, 1974 in Holyoke, MA. The business was later named Oakdale Dental Associates, P.C.
Dr. Lalchandani is the past director of the American Cancer Society and the MSPCC Childrens Protective Services. He is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, the Mass Dental Society, the Valley District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also an active member and the past President of the Lions Club.
From 1975 to 1985, Dr. Lalchandani was the staff dentist of the Holyoke Health Center and medical staff of the Holyoke Hospital. He is also the only volunteer dentist for the Holyoke Public School system. Most recently, Dr. Lalchandani completed 1100 hours of disciplined and comprehensive dental study covering all aspects of dentistry. In so doing, he achieved the highest award for continuing dental education presented by the Academy of General Dentistry Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). Only 1% of practicing dentists in the United States and Canada have achieved MAGD!

I wish this dentist office would do all kind service instead sending anyone to other dentist office if they need pull tooth or other dental services.

Oakdale Dental is superb! From the moment that you schedule your visit, enter the office and are cared for you feel welcomed and confortable. Dr. Lachandani is the best and I swear he has the hands of an angel. I had a difficult extraction as my tooth grew in an abnormal way and he was so gentle and patient. Making certain that I was aware of all that was taking place while ensuring that I was comfortable and at ease. He even called at the end of the day to make sure that I was well. Thank you Oakdale Dental for being so amazing!

Dr. Lalchandani is by far the BEST dentist I have ever had! Before coming to Oakdale Dental I hated the dentist, now I love going!

The entire staff is always friendly and helpful. Lisa does a great cleaning and Dr L. is the best. I've had a dread of dentists since I was little but this office makes it a happy experience.

The staff at Oakdale Dental are awesome! I was hesitant to have new crowns put on my teeth, Dr. answered all of the questions I had and made me feel extremely comfortable going into the procedure. Thank you for your expertise and advice. My smile has never left any better:)

Stay Away the whole staff is rude and racist!!!! I went in for a procedure with my children who are bi racial and as soon as I walked in with my kids she (Karen) hid all the stickers from counter so my children won't have any how rude !! I get to the back and they made me wait for ever only one person working back there and on top of that the doctor is 80 years old he can barely hear me telling him about my issues worst experience ever

So, in 2007 I broke my two front teeth and paid top dollar for the best repair ever out in Worcester. Since it's been over 10 years, there's been some wear and tear...I managed to chip the crown and the veneer and had them repaired by a local dentist about 2 years ago. You could clearly tell it was a repair, but I just dealt with it. Well, that repair recently re-broke. I went to another dentist and they told me they couldn't fix it because the repair probably wouldn't last more than 15 minutes. Super upset, I reached out to a good friends father - Dr. Lalchandani. His office got me in asap as I expressed how upset I was, especially because I had a wedding coming up and this was my 2 front teeth...The doctor came in and told me that he can fix anything The repair that he did is amazing. I can't even tell that there was chip in the crown to begin with! I'm going back next week to have the minor chip in my veneer repaired - thank you to all of the great staff and an even bigger thank you Dr. Lalchandani!!!

One morning I woke up with a swollen face due to an infected mollar. I was in excruciating pain. I ended up going to two different dentist offices. The first one turned me away. However, Oakdale were the most amazing group of people. I had been a patient many years ago, but what I really loved was the concern they had as soon as I entered through the door. They saw my face. They saw my tears. And without me even saying a word they told me, "we need to take care of this." Since my insurance didn't cover the procedure, they called to make an appointment at a cosmetics office that did and three days later I felt brand new! Thank you Oakdale so much for putting the people that come through your doors first, regardless of whether they are a patient or not.
