Jodie first discovered her love for dentistry as a dental assistant. This experience motivated her to further her education in dentistry. In 2011, she graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Concorde College in Southern California. She stays up to date by attending continuing education courses within her field, and enjoys educating her patients whom she always treats as family. Jodie is currently earning a Bachelors Degree in health Science/Dental Hygiene. When she's not in the dental office, you can find her spending time with her family. She loves to cook, tend to her floral garden, boating, and other out door family activities.
Yveth,a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) since 1999,will see to it that you receive the highest standard of dental care. Yveth has many years of experience assisting during extensive dental procedures. She is an accomplished CEREC CAD-CAM crown designer and excels in the fabrication and customization of the restorations. Her thorough understanding of dentistry builds patients' confidence during even the most challenging dental treatments. She provides thorough explanations for diagnosis and treatment in both English and Spanish. Yveth's kind and gentle nature, along with her passion for dentistry, allows patients to have a comfortable and positive experience!
Bri,a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)since 2016 after graduating from SJVC in Temecula. Her extensive experience in pediatric dentistry is what made her a great addition to our team. As Menifee is growing and younger families are moving to the area having a team member with extensive experience was essential. Bri is caring, kind, and excited to be working with patients of all ages!
Brianna has developed a love for dentistry that has led her to join the dental community. She works in the sterilization station where she makes sure all instruments are properly sterilized. Additionally she helps assisting with Dr. Romero-Shu with patients during procedures. Brianna is striving to become a dentist and is absorbing as much as she can from Dr. Romero-Shu to provide a high level of dental care in the future. Brianna loves to spend her free time with her siblings and boyfriend. She is kind spoken, caring and excited to work with patients!
Shelleyis a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) since 2004 after graduating from Bryman College in 2004 top of her class. Her passion for dentistry has led her to be part of our team in many capacities but is most recently a patient service representative. Shelley spends her free time as a health coach and spending time with her 2 kids. She is a great asset to our team and is happy to help our patients with all their dental needs.

By far the best dental experience I've ever had. I experienced a dental emergency on a holiday weekend, and I needed help. I had no appointment time, but I called and Dr. Romero-Shu and his team brought me in and took care of my situation. Super friendly, clean, and professional.

I highly recommend Dr. Romero, I have never experienced a more compassionate dentist. During these trying times with the covid-19, he went above & beyond to help me from the comfort of his home to getting me a referral & finding an oral surgeon that could help me with my dental emergency. I can't even begin to explain how incredibly caring, compassionate, professional and friendly Dr. Romero-Shu and his staff are. My son had a mini-dental emergency late on a Friday afternoon and they didnt think twice about squeezing him in even when everyone wants to start their weekend! My 7 year old was completely comfortable and not scared one bit, he even said he had fun! The office is beautiful, modern, and remarkably clean. I would definitely recommend Oak Valley Dental to anyone, extremely grateful and happy clients here!

Hands down, the best dentist and staff we have ever had!! We have gone to this dentist for years, and have never been disappointed. We have recommended them to friends and family. Dr. Shu is the best, and the staff is amazing! Everything is aesthetically pleasing, and state-of-the-art. They are very caring, kind, and knowledgeable.

Doc and his staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything that was being done and answered all my questions. This office has some really cool tech. I had a new crown put in and they used some 3D teeth mapping technology to determine the perfect for my mouth. Then that information was sent to this tooth milling machine in his office where the crown was created/printed. This was a really cool experience. We definitely found the dentist for our family.

Everyone in the staff is extremely friendly! They do they're best to make you feel as if you're at home there. From having coffee and water available in the front, to having blankets in the rooms. Greatest dentist I've been to!

My son, who is under 2 years old, had his 1st dentist appointment with Dr. Romero-Shu. Being that it was his first time and he is young, he really worked on making him feel comfortable and the doctor did everything possible to let him have a positive experience. I'm talking balloon animals, letting me hold him in the chair, a quick exam, AND a toy from the treasure chest afterwards! It was a very positive experience and I know his next appointment will be just as great. We really enjoy this facility. Not to mention the rest of the staff is extremely friendly and so caring. I had my cleaning done by Maxine, who takes time and thoroughly explains the proper techniques to maintaining healthy teeth. She is awesome!

I have never left a review but couldn't let today pass without commending the most Amazing Dentist EVER!! OAK VALLEY DENTAL in Menifee - my son cracked his two front teeth this morning and DR. ROMERO SHU saw him this morning and not only did an AMAZING job but was able to calm my son down and made him a minion! Lol! All smiles! You can't even tell!! He came out with a better smile than he had before! The staff is great and Dr. Shu ROCKS! Also If you need a crown - he has the newest technology and makes your crown the same day too! Give them a try, you will be happy you did! I'm soooo glad we finally have found Dentist for our family who is gentle, caring, FUN, & takes pride in his work! I wish I could post photos but for some reason it won't let me !
