James Lewis, DMD Dr. Jamie Lewis grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He received his DMD from the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in 2014. He graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into OKU, the national dental honor society. He then completed his two-year pediatric specialty residency at Temple University, graduating in 2016. Dr. Lewis is fully board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Understanding the need for providing dental care in underserved communities, Dr. Lewis has taken dental mission trips to Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. He is also passionate about being able to provide care to all children in his own community regardless of circumstance.
Dr. Lewis moved up to the North Country in 2018 with his wife Andrea (a Queensbury native) and their young children. He has been loving everything that our area has to offer, and all of the wonderful families he has met. In 2020, Dr. Lewis decided to branch out on his own and opened Oak Tree Pediatric Dentistry. At Oak Tree, Dr. Lewis strives to provide the absolute best quality care for children of all ages. Hell even sing you a Disney song if you ask, but he cant promise that his voice is any good! When hes not practicing dentistry Dr. Lewis is an avid golfer and skier. He also loves going on adventures with his three kids.

Ashley Office Manager & Insurance Coordinator Ashley comes to us with a passion for helping to provide quality dental care for local children. She grew up in upstate New York, and moved back to the area after earning her degree. With vast knowledge of patient account management, insurance and human resources she is excited to be a part of the Oak Tree team. Ashley is friendly and accessible to all of our families with any questions or concerns. In her free time, she enjoys quilting, baseball and spending time outdoors. She especially loves water related activities- boating and swimming are family favorites! Ashley also enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering in hospitals and libraries with her family therapy dogs.
Annie Dental Assistant Annie grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Gettysburg College where she majored in environmental studies. While at Gettysburg, Annie was on the Recreational Activities Board, where she led hiking, kayaking and rock climbing trips. She then worked in several outdoor leadership positions before becoming a pediatric dental assistant. Annie loves the fun, fast pace that comes with working with kids and is so excited to be part of the team at Oak Tree. In her free time Annie enjoys everything that the outdoors has to offer.
Andrea Community Outreach Director Andrea grew up in Queensbury, graduating from Queensbury High School in 2004. She then studied psychology at Duke University, graduating in 2008, and went on to receive her PhD in psychology from Rutgers University. Andrea is so excited to be back in the area, and that her husband, Dr. Lewis, is now practicing in her hometown. At Oak Tree, Andrea will be working to provide dental health education to children in our community and will also be organizing some fun events for our office! In her free time Andrea loves to dance, travel and spend time with her family.
Ariel Dental Assistant Ariel grew up in Hoosick Falls, NY. In high school, she loved playing field hockey and softball. She has an associates degree in medical assisting from Bryant & Stratton College. Ariel has a love for working with kids, which started when she worked as a preschool teacher. She has been working as a dental assistant for the past 4 years. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her adorable son, camping and hanging out with family.

My son has autism and is nonverbal. Brushing his teeth at home is already a challenge so going to the dentist can be even more challenging. Dr. Lewis and all of the staff at Oak Tree have made it a lot less challenging and have made me feel so much more comfortable taking him to the dentist. They have done an amazing job working with him each time he has been and everyone has been very friendly. I am so glad I made the switch to Oak Tree. Thank you for taking good care of our children :)

I don't write reviews often but We went to oak tree pediatric dentistry 6 weeks ago from a referral from our lactation consultant to see if our little one had a tongue/lip tie. At the time, our little one was 3 weeks old and we were suffering from extreme colic as our baby could not get a proper latch, even with a nipple shield. I researched high and low to have a successful breastfeeding journey as neonatal doctors and our pediatricians were not able to diagnose that our little had a tight lip tie and tongue tie.However, after suffering from a very colicky baby for 3 weeks - we caved and went to Oak Tree Pediatric Dentistry. First impressions were that they had a beautiful office and such a lovely and kind staff. More importantly, they did the procedure the day we went there after diagnosis & it was such a quick procedure. Since then, it's been a smooth breastfeeding journey and our little is no longer colicky/experience terrible gas pains. so so so so worth it and super happy we went!

Recently took my little one in to have his tongue and lip ties released and was very pleased with the experience. I was 100% comfortable leaving him with Dr. Lewis and the techs to have the procedure done. I would definitely recommend them.

We just took our son here for his first dentist appointment, and I completely understand why people rave about this office! Super kind, friendly, caring staff. Every single person we encountered was just wonderful. The place is extremely clean, and they go above and beyond to make a child's experience at the dentist as best as it can be. So happy that we found them!

Wonderful first time experience for my son! He's very nervous about doing new things! The staff here were extremely patient with trying to make sure he was comfortable before doing anything, they let him touch everything they would be using. They were extremely friendly. We didn't feel rushed at all! I was very pleased with my son's first experience! He didn't want to leave! will be returning in 6 months as well as my youngest son will be going here also when he is 18 months!

I went to Oak tree pediatric dentistry to have my sons lip tie released. When I initially called the front desk was so helpful. They answered my questions and got me set up. They understood I was coming from 2 hours away and said they will try to do the consult and procedure the same day. (Which they did) When I walked in the door it was welcoming and everyone was nice. There were toys and cartoons to distract my toddler. The assistant that came to get us was amazing. She was kind and helpful and pulled toys out of everywhere to distract my crazy man while I talked with the dr. The dr. Was great. He described the whole procedure to me, what to expect and gave me the chance to do it another day if it made me more comfortable. He asked multiple times if I had questions and answered accordingly, After the procedure he went over instructions with me again and gave me the number to call or text at any time! I wish I lived closer because I would be transferring there from my primary if we did. I couldn't ask for a better appointment for something that gave me a ton of anxiety. I would recommend them to anyone!

We recently switched to Oak tree Dentistry. I am just so pleased with how well they worked with my son, who does have special needs! The doctor was so helpful with little tricks to help me help my son while we brush. The dental assistant had a great personality and understood all of my concerns and was very prompt with addressing them with the doctor. Overall it felt very warm and comfortable.

My daughter just had her first dental visit here and it couldn't have been better! The office was super clean and kid-friendly, we had almost no wait until we were called, and the hygienists and Dr. Lewis were so great with my daughter explaining each tool and thing they were doing and letting her touch everything first. The entire visit was quick and fun for her - any little anxieties she may have had seem to be gone and she's excited to return in six months. Thanks to this wonderful staff!

I'm so happy with our choice to bring our daughter to Oak Tree Pediatrics. The entire staff was incredibly sweet and friendly with her and she had so many smiles with them. She is 18 months old so I was a bit nervous to bring her to the dentist for the first time but they made her and I feel very comfortable. Dr Lewis is very friendly and his tie-dye jacket was super kid friendly. My daughter knows white coats and gets nervous around them so that was a great touch :) I can't say enough good things about Oak Tree Pediatrics!!

I was so anxious about my daughter needing her liptie revised because it's not causing any issues for her. I'm so happy we made the hour drive out to Oak Tree to see Dr. Lewis. We made the decision together that she really doesn't need it done and we'd work with our lactation consultant instead. I'm so happy to not put my daughter through a procedure that she didn't need. Everyone we talked to at Oak Tree were all so friendly and welcoming and the facility is so clean. 10/10 experience.

Dr. Lewis and his staff are amazing! They are so patient and take the time to explain everything to the kiddos. My daughter was very anxious and they worked through the entire appointment with her. After we left she said how nice everyone was and that she wants to go back! Thank you for a positive experience!

My son had his first apt he is 2.5. He was very cranky and not very cooperative but the staff and the dentist handled it so well. They were so fast and so efficient and professional but understanding and caring! As a mom I was nervous about his first dental experience but my nerves went away as soon as I walked through the door! Highly recommended!
