Both Invisalign and braces can do so by applying pressure to the teeth or by working in combination with other orthodontic measures like spacers. When straightening teeth we do more than move physical teeth into the right position. We also align the bite. Otherwise, you will continue to have problems and discomfort. When wearing braces, the bite is often aligned using a series of rubber bands that hold the jaw in a particular position by stringing a band from one bracket on the top palate to one on the lower jaw. When straightening teeth with Invisalign, pressure is applied to the teeth to move them into the right position. This means that if your underbite or overbite is caused by your teeth, it can be corrected using aligners. However, if you have a physical problem with your jaw, you may need to have jaw surgery in addition to wearing your aligners. Another option for misaligned jaws, that cannot be fixed using aligners, is to wear traditional braces. At Oak Tree Dental, we can solve the challenge you are having with overcrowding using several methods. The most common orthodontic option is wearing an expander. This can be done when straightening teeth with braces or Invisalign. An expander pushes the arch outward so that there is naturally more room for your teeth. This is the least invasive method and often preferred by our patients. The other option is to remove one or several teeth prior to straightening them or to shave off small portions of the enamel to make enough room. When you visit our dentist office, we can explain all of these options in detail so that you can make an educated decision regarding which solution is right for you.
Attachments are the small bumps that you may see on the teeth of someone wearing Invisalign. They are round, small and made of tooth-colored resin so that they are barely noticeable. Not everyone needs them as part of their treatment. If we recommend attachments, then you should seriously consider it because they make it far easier for your teeth to move during the treatment process. They make it easier for the aligners to grip and, therefore, apply more pressure so that your teeth can move more effectively. Since they are removable, they will come off at the end of your treatment plan. Buttons may also be used in combination with or in lieu of attachments. They work differently because while they are bonded to the teeth, an elastic is often secured to them.

Oak Tree Dental is by far the most superior dental office I have gone to. Prior to coming to Oak Tree Dental, I had gone to many dental offices that processed patients slowly, were judgmental, and would not explain things to me thoroughly. Dr. Madhu has not only provided me with expert advice and thorough details (about the procedures,) but has provided a detailed dental plan to follow (to which I am adhering.) The first day I had gone in for a general consultation and for advice-- that same day Dr. Madhu did a quick cleaning. Dr. Madhu advised doing 2 root canal retreatments. After the first day, I had made another appointment but unfortunately ended up missing 5 appointments. When I tried to make my 6th appointment the Oak Tree Dental staff refused due to the many opportunities they had given me. A week and a half later Oak Tree Dental called me to give me another chance (the 6th time.) I was happy and very grateful that this dentistry really cares about their patients! We have finalized my first root canal retreatment and I have a crown, I had 3 appointments for this procedure. I cannot say anything, but great things about Dr. Madhu and all his staff. Oak Tree Dental provides patients with a safe place to get their dental work done. From the front desk to each dental assistant, everyone is kind and professional. Most importantly Dr. Madhu is very professional, knowledgeable, and clearly a master at his profession. I look forward to all my future dental appointments at Oak Tree Dental. I definitely believe everyone should give Oak Tree Dental a try.

Dr. Madhu Kasipathy suggested deep cleaning for the complete teeth and gave estimate for the same as well. On consulting different Dental provider I was suggested deep cleaning for two quadrants, deep cleaning for fewer than all teeth in third quadrant and regular cleaning for the fourth quadrant. I have reached out the OakTree practice for an explanation, the review will be updated based on their reply if any, until then I would advice everyone to stay away from this practice for your dental needs. Update: I received a response from the practice after couple of follow ups. The reply is defending their decision to advice deep cleaning for all the four quadrants which I don't accept being ruled out by a different practice. Thanks to the practice though for their reply

5 stars for sure for this location! The location is easy to find, their logo is nice and big. The office inside is clean and decorated comfortably, the staff were welcoming and professional. The dentist was so kind, gentle, and attentive. He cleaned and filled in the cracks in my molars and left my teeth looking like there had never been any cracks or cavities. I am very pleased with my teeth. After my fillings, he asked me to bite down and asked me how I felt. I told him one side was a little uneven. He responded by saying, "don't worry, I will fix it and make sure you leave feeling the same way you did when you walked it." I certainly did! I will definitely be returning, bringing my husband AND children.

Dr. Madhu Kasipathy is very kind and responsive. He is not only extremely knowledgeable in this field but made me feel very comfortable during all my visits. Went there for the first time, excellent experience. Unlike other dentist he was focusing on my dental issues than my dental insurance. Weekend appointment was available, which is very good. Doctor spent enough time with me and answered all my questions. My friends referred me to this dentists.
