Dr. Muzaffar M. Shah-Khanis the owner Doctor/Dentist of Oak Ridge Dental & Surgery. He grew up in Oak Brook, IL in a very close family. Outside of the office, he enjoys music, travelling to distant lands, and staying fit through various workouts including circuit training, boxing, and hiking.
He has always been interested in healthcare of all specialties which is why he spends much of his free time learning the latest/newest treatments and techniques. His quest for knowledge takes him all over the globe.
His mother,Dr. Obaida Shah-Khan, MD, is a brilliant physician who practiced in Southeast Chicago and Hammond for several years, treating thousands of residents. She now acts as the clinical director of Oak Ridge Dental & Surgery and is a great resource to the practice. His father,Sardar Shah-Khan, is a former candy company executive (Milk Duds anyone?), who is in real estate. His older brother, Mazher Shah-Khan, Esq, is a prominent immigration and real estate attorney in Chicago.
Dr. Muzaffar Shah-Khan comes from a medical legacy starting with his mother and followed by his two sisters. Dr. Miraj Shah-Khan, MD, is an award winning, world renowned, surgical breast oncologist, and Dr. Farheen Shah-Khan, MD, a triple board certified Nephrologist practicing in Chicago.

Dr. Shah Khan was extremely friendly and professional. Very caring with my extractions. The receptionist is super nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place, thank you!!

I went to go and get my wisdom teeth pulled. It was a great experience and dr. Shahkhan did everything in his power to make sure i was comfortable. We were able to get all 4 out in one sitting.

Today, I went to get all four of my wisdom teeth pulled. This was my first time coming to this facility, and it was definitely a great experience. The staff is so welcoming and polite and the doctor is absolutely amazing! He was very informative about the aspects of the procedure and I was able to ask as many questions as I needed. During the procedure, the doctor made sure I was okay the entire time, which made me feel comfortable. He was very patient and understanding. I definitely recommend this dentistry if you are looking to be in good hands! I really appreciate the doctor and his staff for making this the best experience. I have always been afraid to get my wisdom teeth pulled, but I'm glad I finally did, and I'm glad it was with Oak Ridge Dental & Oral Surgery

Dr. Shah-Khan WAS GREAT through the whole process of me getting my wisdom teeth pulled out he stopped to check on me often. He made me feel very comfortable I RECOMMEND HIM . He also took his time .

I came here to get my wisdom teeth removed, and i must say the service and after was stunning he was very patient and thorough with everything, not to mention He prescribed me pain medicine after the surgery but i had ZERO pain. 10/10 Highly recommend!

Man when I say this is by far the BEST oral surgeon I've come across thus far, and I've been to a few! The staff was the absolute sweetest and attentive to all my needs and concerns. He took his time and made sure I was comfortable throughout it all and I appreciate him sooooo much. He's really down to earth and very skilled at what he does. I highly recommend him to anybody suffering from from tooth pain and in need of a good extraction! 10 out of 10. I am so thankful for him and his staff!!!

Dr.Shah is so nice. I wasn't able to get my bottom two wisdom teeth pulled because full sedation is not offered at this office (they sit right on my nerve from my understanding) but he was more then willing to do the top and even was willing to schedule me an appointment asap. I wasn't able to make it cause my daughter was exposed to Covid but either way, both times I've seen him he's been extremely nice and thorough.

I had the pleasure of shadowing Dr. Shah-Khan and watched him perform intense dental procedures. His office is clean and welcoming, but more importantly he centers his efforts around his patients: ensuring that they feel comfortable, understand what's going on, and are being provided the highest quality of care.

I think Dr. Shah-Khan fell from the sky. I hated going to the Dentist & I never went. I need oral surgery and was so worried but he made me feel so comfortable and confident in what he was doing for me. He is AMAZING. TELL EVERYBODY. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!!!!

Great friendly fast service. Arrived at location and was attended to right away. Dr Shahkhan was great with explaining details of procedure I had done and have very insightful tips on post treatment.

I came here for oral surgery, and I was honestly super nervous. But Dr. Shah-Khan is amazing. He is VERY professional and I am SUPER Satisfied. Best Surgeon out here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Loved the atmosphere in there. Doctor was Phenomenal, Nurses were amazing.I had 4 extractions totally terrified and everyone made me feel so much better they talked me through it, joked a little and even walked me to my car after to be sure I was safe. I appreciate their patience with me and this will forever be my #1 go to for any oral/dental/surgery. Fast and sufficient surgery. 1000% recommended love love love it there
