Rebecca Kisling, DDS Dr. Rebecca Kisling was born in Saint Louis, Missouri, and attended Nerinx Hall High School. She graduated magna cum laude from University of Missouri-Columbia with two degrees, a Bachelor of Science in biology and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Dr. Kisling then attended University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School and graduated second in her class overall.
Following Dental School, she was accepted into UMKC School of Dentistrys advanced education in general dentistry residency. This yearlong program advanced her skills in both restorative and surgical dentistry, with special focus and training in cosmetic dentistry, TMJ disorders and occlusion, and surgical placement and restoration of dental implants.
Dr. Kisling loves Kansas City and now considers herself a Royals fan (even though she will always be a Cardinals fan at heart, with her St. Louis roots). Outside of dentistry, she loves spending time with friends and family, especially her new nieces in Colorado. Her hobbies include petting dogs, photography, traveling and DIY projects. Dr. Kisling is also fluent in Spanish.
Mark S. Jensen, DDS Dr. Mark Jensen graduated with a bachelors degree in biology from the University of Kansas in 1984. He then continued on to the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction in 1988. Following graduation, Dr. Jensen completed a three-year general practice residency with the United States Navy Dental Corps. During this rewarding and challenging time, he worked primarily with Marines in the First Gulf War. He learned many of the skills he now uses every day by working with some of the finest clinicians anywhere.
After completing his residency, Dr. Jensen moved back to Kansas City, his hometown. In 1992, he purchased this practice from a retiring doctor and developed the theme of Together, Dental Health for Life. While Dr. Jensen has practiced dentistry in the area for more than 20 years (and his practice has grown tremendously), he has never lost sight of what has led to every success he has hadcaring for his patients as best as possible.
Dr. Jensen has extensive training in several areas of dental care, including cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery. He also continues his education in dentistry on a regular basis, maintaining all of the required continuing education for accreditation with the State of Kansas Dental Board. In addition, Dr. Jensen is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association and Fifth District Dental Society of the State of Kansas. Furthermore, his practice is accredited by the Better Business Bureau of Greater Kansas City.

Love this place! Dr. Kisling is amazing as well as dental hygienist Kaylee. Front desk staff super friendly and professional! Wouldn't ever wanna go anywhere else!

I couldn't speak more highly of Dr. Rebecca Kisling and her team! As a patient with high anxiety, Dr. Kisling has a bedside manner that puts me at ease and she always answers any questions or concerns that I have very thoroughly. When I broke a tooth and called her office in a panic, they were able to get me in the same day to address my needs. Dr. Kisling and her assistant Michelle were able to fix my tooth and save me from a weekend of pain. I'm so happy to call Oak Park Dental my dental home!

In March of 2020 my daughter had her wisdom teeth removed. I received the bill and was told my insurance didn't cover and they would appeal. I did not hear back from them until almost 2 years later when the bill showed up on my credit report. They told me that there was no way it hadn't been sent on the date of service. I called my insurance and it was sent when I requested the appeal..8 months after the date of Service. It was denied. They then told me insurance would have covered all but $801. Again, I asked my insurance and they told me there was no way they could know that because it was never processed. I let them know and they wrote that amount off but said there had been another error with my other daughter and she had work done that exceeded her benefits and they had accidentally marked her account as inactive and did not notify me. Conveniently it was the EXACT amount they had charged for the original bill for my other daughter. Rather than give me an opportunity to pay it off they left the amount on my credit report. I have been lied to, financially hurt by them, have had a receptionist hang up on me in the past for trying to get her to look into the first bill and while both my girls liked the dentist we will never use them and will warn anyone we can against using them due to great negligence within the billing department.

I have a stupid fear of dentists. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and help me to take charge of my oral health. I was very relieved and am looking foreward to better teeth!

Let me just say I sincerely hope Dr. Rebecca Kinslinger doesn't retired before I need false teeth . Just a figure of speak. My visit with her and her assistant very positive. I'm not very comfortable going to the dentist for anything. Dr. Rebecca makes you feel very comfortable she patiently explained every step of my treatment today as well as her assistant. Sorry don't remember her name. Just age. The whole staff is great! Been going to Oak Park Family Dental for maybe 2 or 3 years.
