Our doctors are conservative in their treatment practices, planning for the most efficient and predictable treatment time by using clinically proven, state-of-the-art dental and orthodontic treatments. Little ones benefit from dental hygiene education, preventive cleanings, fluoride, and sealants, while patients of all ages can take advantage of traditional metal or clear braces, lingual braces, and even Invisalign clear aligners.
Our newest location in Westlake Village has been described as a childrens wonderland by many dental publications. We recommend our Peek- a- Boo complimentary visit for children under three years of age. We are available evenings and Saturdays in addition to our regular daily schedule.
Dr. Alami lives in Westlake Village with his wife and three children, and is very active in the community. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He attended Indiana University School of Dentistry and subsequently completed a three-year pediatric program at the University of California, San Francisco.
He is recognized as a Fellow by the College of Diplomates and as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and was appointed to the faculty of the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry Residency/Post-Doctorate Program in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Alami belongs to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, California Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Santa Barbara/Ventura County Dental Society, and the Cayman Islands Medical Dental Society.
He has received many merit awards including publications for the National Institute of Health and induction into the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He supports and participates in many charitable events in the surrounding communities.
Dr. Barry grew up in Thousand Oaks and has spent most of her life in the Conejo Valley. She graduated from La Reina High School and attended Santa Clara University, where she majored in biology. Dr. Barry received her D.D.S. from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and completed her residency program in pediatric dentistry at Loma Linda. Following her residency program, Dr. Barry served as an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Dentistry at Loma Linda while she was completing her Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Barry is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Santa Barbara-Ventura County Dental Society. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Barry also serves on the Board of Directors of La Reina High School in Thousand Oaks.
Dr. Gelman was born in the Ukraine and moved to Los Angeles, CA when she was ten years old. She received her Bachelors degree in biology from the University of Michigan. She then moved to UCLA where she received her dental degree and completed her pediatric dental residency. Dr. Gelman has provided her services for the Give Kids a Smile foundation and the UCLA Venice Clinic.

Both my kids enjoyed their appointments yesterday. My son has had a lot of anxiety in the past, but the dental hygienist was sweet and gentle and the dentist was great pulling out his spacer without numbing (as per my son's request). I'm thrilled both kids enjoyed their appointments. The office is adorable, too.

Amazing staff, dentists and all around amazing people who helped with everything with my son! He is special needs and they do such an amazing job that you have to praise them because they are very wonderful at what they do!!!!! Any child will feel beyond comfortable and welcomed at this location and I am so very happy that my son loves to come here!!!! Who loves going to the dentist???? My kid does!

Do not take your child here. Definitely do not let your child see Dr. Yu she has no idea how to deal with kids. My 4 year old said he doesn't want his tooth fixed and she told him then why did you come today ?! Crazy person. They over book kids and never have them see the same Dr every time. They didn't treat me son's tooth for over 6 months and just let the cavity get worse. They are new graduate Drs that do not have the experience to work with young kids. They traumatized my son and I will never go back. Thankfully Ocean Adventures dentistry fixed everything and took all my sons fears away ! Do not go here.

Oak Park Dentistry for Children is second to none. I have 4 kids, who actually beg me to take them to the dentist any time we happen to drive by . The entire staff, dental assistants, dentists and orthodontists are phenomenal. They truly are experts in children's dentistry and their patience and love for their patients is unmatched.

Dr. Alami and his staff at Oak Park Dentistry for Children and Orthodontics provide awesome dental service and care. They are the best at what they do! My 3 children have been patients of Dr. Alami's for many years and their experience has always been great. Dr. Alami is extremely gentle, kind, patient and informative. He is the best dentist I've ever encountered. My son just had all 4 of his wisdom teeth removed last week by Dr. Ozaki, one of the newest members of their team, and it was about the best experience one can have under those circumstances! My kids loved the visit. The staff, doctor and hygienist where kind and excellent. I'm a dental specialist myself (periodontist) and very picky about where to send my family for treatment. I'm very happy with the choice in getting care at Oak Park pediatric dentistry.

It was our first visit to the office when my three year old chipped her front tooth. The team could not have been kinder and taken better care of her!
