Dr. Murphy built two practices in Canada. One practice resides in downtown Toronto, in a television station, where his patients were notable Canadian musicians and TV personalities. Because many of his patients were on camera, he developed a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Murphys second practice is in Ottawa, where many of his patients were politicians or ambassadors from foreign countries. Both practices won awards for design and were featured in several magazines.
Dr. Murphy has lectured internationally on the topics of cosmetic dentistry and technology in dentistry. In 2004, he moved to the US and has practiced in the Chicago region since. Dr. Murphys interests continue to be in new dental technology, and he invests in continuing education to provide the best possible care for his patients.
In his free time, Dr. Murphy likes to spend time with his wife Tracy and daughter Teagan. He likes to restore and build guitars, race performance cars, and teach performance driving. When possible, Dr. Murphy tries to continue playing with his bands, one of which is the Grammy nominated group Men Without Hats.
Dr. Isaac Yue completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. In 2002, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and obtained a patent for his research in treating gum disease. He then returned to the Midwest to complete his orthodontic training at the University of Illinois, where he obtained his Masters of Oral Sciences and Certification in Orthodontics.
Dr. Yue is a board-certified Orthodontist, Invisalign Premier Provider, and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Department of Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Board of Orthdontics, American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Education Association, American Dental Association, and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Ahmad Noweder graduated from University of Illinois, Chicago with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He continued his education at Midwestern University School of Dental Medicine, earning his DMD.
Dr. Noweders care philosophy is to always listen to and understand the patient, and render care based off of the patients specific wants and needs. His patients would describe him as compassionate, engaging, and respectful. He specializes in restorative crowns and bridges, and also speaks Arabic.

The office was nice and clean. The hygienist was a bit rough, first time I've ever had x-rays that hurt. I think the dentist was offended when I asked him to change his gloves. I don't like how they touch all over the office equipment and then use the same gloves during treatment! It's cross contamination at it's best! They mentioned my wisdom tooth, which never cut thru the gums so that lessened my trust in this office. Not sure yet if I'll return.

Oak Park Dental Group is a strange dental office. While all of the staff is extremely friendly, there is a hygienist there that absolutely deserve a raise. Nonetheless, I went for a cleaning appointment today, they began with x-rays and concluded that I had too much build up to do a regular cleaning so my whole appointment was spent examining my teeth and determining I needed a deep cleaning that take two appointments and cost hundreds of dollars. I was extremely disappointed I took the day off of work to get no actual dental work done. While I am certain my teeth could have been in better shape I was given no options and was told "we don't have enough time today to do a cleaning". My partner also made an appointment, when he called to confirm they said they had no appointment, later that day he got an automated message "sorry we missed your appointment". This is the second time I left the practice because of messy schedule books and no patient autonomy. I will not be returning.

Awesome! Very friendly staff with a positive Attitude. Very clean rooms and office. Dr. Murphy was great. Went in for a chipped tooth that Dr. Murphy fixed within 30 min. I will be going back for examination and for a deep cleaning in a couple of Weekes.

The DDS who worked on my tooth was the most atrociously immature and angry man I've ever met in a professional setting. He talked down to me the entire time and then when I asked about how long the crown would take to make, he literally threw a fit...explaining that he "doesn't personally own a lab for making crowns". He was clearly in a rush and as discourteous as a human could be.

I am totally happy making the choice picking the Oak Park Dental Group. Went in as a new customer and first of all booking a appointment was a breeze and they were able to get me and my family for a appointment in a matter of days which was super convenient. The establishment is very clean and spacious the receptionist was very kind and I was called very quickly to start the process the Hygienist Selena was really nice and professional she explained the process step by step that we're gonna take place and what would need to be done which made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Bruce was very nice and funny too! He also made my son feel very comfortable since he was nervous and explained everything very professionally can't wait to go back next week for my deep cleaning.

2/19/21 I moved to Oak Park a little over 6 months ago. During this time I have had all of my dental needs met at Oak Park Dental Group. I've had two implants and two cleanings. Dr. Bruce, Dani and Briana have given me the kind of dental care I appreciate. They form a team I have complete trust in. They have earned my loyalty. 8/19/21 I had X-rays, a cleaning and molds were taken of my teeth for a teeth guard. Dani was wonderful, so affirming, kind and gentle, explaining everything she was doing. I love everything about Dani. Never let her go! She is a bright light in the office. The dentist, who was filling in for Dr. Bruce, was professional, kind and patient. He explained things in a way I could understand and I felt respected. The hygienist was rough, sloppy and not friendly. She practically choked me several times with water. I got panicky and then whatever she put in my cheek/mouth to collect water did not work and then it went flying in the air and fell on the floor. She squirted water all over my face throughout the cleaning. She kept dropping cleaning paste in my hair. Overall I was highly disappointed. I am going to request that she not ever clean my teeth again. Thank you. *****I returned six months later for a cleaning and was given the same hygienist. This same hygienist repeated an awful cleaning. My family will be going to a different dental office from now on.

I had an appointment this morning to get an emergency extraction, and I was told upon making the appointment that I could be sedated. I got there and was told that I couldn't be sedated, that I need to reschedule. So I told them it was ok I didn't need to be sedated as it was a preference because I have a low pain tolerance; then I was told that I couldn't be seen because the doctor had patients; me being one of their patients. The doctor was rude and wouldn't see me. After sitting in the office for an hour I wasn't seen and still have the broken tooth in my mouth.

Over 1k to pull a wisdom tooth is outrageous! I came here in 2012 and had 3 pulled for 700$. It was a different surgeon. I do not recommend. They keep sending me bills but I already payed before the procedure and they also billed my insurance. They are scammers! Why did u charge me 700 to pull 3 wisdom teeth in 2012 and now for 1 wisdom tooth it came out to 1,100$. You people have lost your mind!

Easy to book an appointment and I thought they did a great job on my cleaning/ fillings. It was quick and painless and my teeth feel great now. A little expensive without dental insurance but well worth it and staff even helped me sign up with ismile-direct so I could get a discount.
