She prides herself in not only providing clinical excellence in orthodontic treatment but also in creating lasting relationships with her patients.
Dr. Priscila Denny received her Bachelors Degree in Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). After that, she completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) degree in 2001 from UAB School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors. Her graduation honors include the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, the American Association for Dental Research, and the award for academic achievement.
Following one year of general practice residency at UAB Hospital, Dr. Denny completed a three-year orthodontic residency program at UAB in June 2005, receiving her Master's in Orthodontics. The orthodontic program at UAB is recognized as being one of the very top residencies in the world. Admission is highly competitive accepting only four residents each year amongst approximately 300 applications. The orthodontists trained at UAB are taught to treat the most complicated of orthodontic malocclusions, including patients who need orthognathic jaw surgery in conjunction with orthodontics.
Her professional affiliations include the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Alabama Dental Association (ALDA), the American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD), and the Birmingham District Dental Society.
Dr. Priscila Denny was born in Brazil and moved to Alabama in 1994, where she has made it her home with her husband Gregory Denny, a Hoover attorney. Dr. Denny comes from a family of dentists and orthodontists, including aunts, uncles, cousins, her sister, and her mother.

At Oak Mountain Orthodontics, our team understands that your time is very valuable; therefore, we can take complete orthodontic records at our office in your first visit. Records taken include molds or impressions of the teeth, digital photographs, and digital radiographs. We maintain one of the most progressive offices in Birmingham. Our office boasts state-of-the-art digital imagery that reduces radiation exposure to patients and eliminates chemical pollutants from X-ray developers. The images are also easy to share with your dentist or other health care providers.
Dr. Denny utilizes materials that are on the cutting edge of orthodontic treatment for her patients including titanium wires, clear braces, and a sterilization process that is hospital equivalent. These techniques make it possible for our patients to experience a shorter treatment time and the convenience of less time missed from work or school as patients are seen on the average of six to eight week intervals rather than once a month.
Dr. Denny strives to ensure that her patients are always receiving the most advanced orthodontic treatment available. In addition to braces, Dr. Denny also offers Invisalign, which involves orthodontics without braces, for adults and older teenagers.

Dr. Denny & her staff are by far the greatest team ever! If I need an immediate appointment for my boys, it's never a problem getting seen. My boys love the atmosphere there!

Dr Denny and her staff have been wonderful! They are so easy to work with and have always been able to reschedule without a problem when needed. Love having the office in Helena. It makes for super quick, convenient appointments!

Dr. Denny was so kind. I was prepared to be sold on braces after twenty year of not wearing my retainer, but she was very complimentary of how well I had done. She provided me with a plan that was affordable and most beneficial for my situation. She cares greatly about the health of her staff and patients and I'm thankful for all of the COVID procedures in place!

My children and I all saw Dr. Denny. I was told at the time of getting braces that if I needed another set after they came off they would do that with no fee. I had my final appt after a year of having them off and she said to close the gap I could do another set. After trying to reach her for almost a week was told they do not have the staff or time to do retreats. I purchased a permanent retainer and I have these size gaps on each side. Not to mention jaw issues that she said braces would fix. Know what your getting in to.

Dr. Denny is kind and knowledgeable and her staff is nice and professional. We will keep going to Oak Mountain Orthodontics. The only areas that need improvement are wait time (we got there 5 minutes early and still had to wait about 30 minutes before my son got called back, and this was toward the first appointment of the day), and my son says that some of the technicians seem like they don't know what they are doing and he likes his old orthodontist better. I explained how many people at these businesses are apprentices and are there to learn and what a good thing it is for Dr. Danny to give them that opportunity, but ultimately, he is just not very comfortable with the lack of knowledge/experience that some of the people who work on his mouth exhibit. I've asked him to be patient and understanding about this. These thinga are not enough to make me want to change, like I said. Most of our experiences there have been positive. He didn't voice this concern to me until last time and it doesn't usually take over an hour for an appointment. Every office needs a little grace! I will update my review after more time has passed and we see small improvements in these areas that I, in good faith, expect will be the case.

Clean and neat office with interesting decoration inside. Google maps has them located across the street, but the location is actually in the shopping center with Publix.
