Dr. Lum is a Pearl City native and grew up in the area. After high school, Dr. Lum pursued his childhood dream of becoming a dental practitioner and graduated with a degree in Dentistry from the University of Washington in 1984. He has since dedicated his career to educating the public about the importance of oral hygiene and providing the best dental care possible.
Dr. Lum is actively involved in the University of Washington Alumni Network. Dr. Lum also served as Board of Director for the Hawaii Dental Association and President for the 50th State Dental Study Club. He was also recognized as one of Hawaii's top dentist in the 2007 edition of Honolulu Magazine.
Dr. Lum and his wife Joan are proud parents of daughters Caitlin, who joined the practice and Madelin, who now works in the mainland. When hes not helping patients, Dr. Lum enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf, traveling and staying fit.
Dr. Alan Hamamura was born and raised in Honolulu. His interest in dentistry was nurtured from his father who was a dental technician with his own dental lab. After attending the University of Hawaii, he completed his dental degree from the University Of Washington School Of Dentistry.
Russelle Anne is native to Honolulu and graduated with a Bachelors in Dental Hygiene from the University of Hawaii. In 2010, she joined the Oahu Dental Care team. In her free time, Russelle Anne likes being with her family and enjoys sports.

My family has been going to Dr. Dayton Lum for 30+ years. He is professional, explains the procedure well, passionate about dentistry & saving/keeping teeth healthy. He takes pride in his work. Making appointments is easy, personable, & allows for digital confirmations/reminders.

Amazing. The staff are friendly, they call me by ky name upon arrival. The hygienist is so friendly and excellent in doing her job she let me feel comfortable. Highly recommended!

With masks n shields there were smiles behind each wall of anti virus. Staff was personable nice and work wise knowledgeable. They have Professional manners and showed concern over daily your daily life events. We have parts of my whole family going to here. Kahala is another site too. I go Pearl City. Thanks !

From the front office to the hygienists and doctors, all are caring and courteous to their patients. Timely appointments and easy to schedule. Front office efficient and personable. Hygienists and Dr. Lum and Dr. Lum know how to care for your teeth and are great at what they do. Highly recommend.
