A native of Battle Lake, Minnesota, Dr. OKane obtained a degree in Biology from St. John's University. He earned his D.D.S. from the University of Minnesota, and has continued his education, attending hundreds of hours of classes as well as studying at the Pankey Institute and the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry.
Dr. OKane enjoys the challenges and rewards of treating a diverse group of people. He has developed a skill set which includes first visits to the dentist, transition from child to adult, and maintenance of adults to geriatric care.
Dr. Chris and Sarah OKane have three daughters, Allison, Erin, and Jordan. The OKane family enjoys many recreational activities. Currently they are most often found enjoying lake time with family and friends.
Dr. Luke Sailer was born and raised in Perham Minnesota. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of North Dakota. He then earned his D.D.S from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2021. Dr. Sailer enjoys advancing his knowledge in the field of dentistry. He believes it is important to continually grow in his education in order to provide the best quality care for his patients.
Dr. Sailer is married to his high school sweetheart Dr. Ciarrin Sailer, who is employed at All Creatures Veterinary Clinic in Perham, Minnesota. Together they have two girls, Laurenna and Taeya. Dr. Sailer enjoys spending quality time with family and being active outdoors.
Born in Bloomington, MN she moved with her family to Wadena at age 3. As a graduate of Wadena High School, she sought further education at Alexandria Technical College in accounting. She met a boy from Verndale and married him.
Lori and Ken live in Wadena and have raised three grown daughters, Sam (Matt), Sara (Aaron) and Nikki (Kyle). She enjoys her grandchildren (Avery, Ben,Luke, Easton, Lainey, Paisley, Kynlee, Hank, Morgan, Joey, and Wilson), quilting, walking in the woods, gardening, fishing/boating, projects and time with family and friends.
Carol was raised in Perham and graduated from Perham High School. After graduation, she joined the Army and continued to serve in the active reserves during Desert Storm, discharged in 1992. She then went on to college at NDSCS in Wahpeton, ND, where she graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1990. She joined Dr. OKanes office in August 1998.
Carol and her husband Randy live in New York Mills on a beef farm. They have two grown daughters, Sada (Brad) and Savannah (Trevor). She loves to spend time with her grandchildren - Mila, Sage, and Crosby. Carol also enjoys quilting, making wine, and snow shoeing.
Melissa grew up on a farm between Wadena and Sebeka. She is a 2008 graduate of Sebeka High School. In 2009, she attended Central Lakes College in Brainerd for dental assisting. She interned at Dr. OKanes office and after graduation, she joined the dental team.
Melanie is native to the area having grown up on a dairy farm south of Aldrich. She graduated from Staples High School and went on to University of Minnesota and received her dental hygiene degree. She worked in Minneapolis until moving back closer to her family in 1991. Melanie and her husband Steve have three adult children and three granddaughters. Her hobbies include biking, walking, and snowshoeing. She recently biked 375 miles across the state of Minnesota.
Twyla is a graduate of New York Mills High School and received her dental assisting degree from Rochester Technical College in 1978. She is entering her 42th year of her dental assisting career and has been with Dr. OKane since the practice started in 1998.
Twyla and her husband Jerry live in their country home near Bertha and have two grown children, Nicole (Ben) and Nathan (Kristin). In her spare time, Twyla enjoys gardening, biking, cross-country skiing, and baking. Most of all, Twyla likes to spend time with friends, family, and her grandchildren - Jackson, Henley, Hudson, and Adalynn.
Kendra graduated from Central Lakes College in Brainerd with her dental assisting degree in 2018. After her internship with our office, she was hired as a permanent member of the staff in July of 2018. Kendra is married to Kyle, and enjoys kayaking, being outside with animals, bonfires and floating down the river.
Sarah graduated from Fergus Falls High School and has a bachelors degree in Business and Professional Communications from Moorhead State University in 1995. As Financial Manager, Sarah takes care of the financial details for the clinic.
Married to Chris since 1996, a lot of her time has been spent raising their three daughters - Allison, Erin and Jordan. She enjoys attending all her kids activities, volunteering her time with different organizations, and spending time on the lake, hockey rink, softball diamond, and soccer field with family and friends.
