I don't usually write reviews but I feel this place deserves one. I switched to this dentist office a few years ago and I am so glad that I did. Every single person I've interacted with there has been extremely pleasant and they really go the extra mile to make your visit the most comfortable experience possible. Its pretty rare to come across a place where you can say their entire staff is... simply put.. GREAT! They are very fair priced as well and really have your best interest in mind. I 10/10 recommend this dentist office to anyone!

I have been coming to this dentistry for the past five years. The staff, nurses, and doctors are always awesome! I just wanted to specially thank Connie for doing an amazing and thorough job cleaning my teeth today. Cleaning teeth with braces are not fun! But she was very professional and really sweet. Amazing!

Love this dentist!! They were the only place that could get me in same day for an emergency root canal a couple years ago and since have done nothing but amazing work. My dental anxiety is gone now. They are all so kind and Dr. King has fixed every problem I had stress about for years.

The best Dentist office I've ever been to. Everyone is so nice and informative. I went there with a bad tooth ache. I mean a sistah was in paiinnn! I'd never been to the office before so I worried if they'd take me same day. My worries dissolved when they quickly checked me in and took care of me. Most of all, I received a root canal and crown alllll in the same day. Under 2 hours y'all! I'm so grateful to this team! Thank you so much! The front office staff is rude, unprofessional, and pushy. It's unfortunate because the actual dentists and hygienists are wonderful. I referred another family who has concerns with the front office staff as well and once we discussed my most recent experience, both our families are leaving this practice.

This place used to be really great. You could get an appointment within a few weeks, get in and out of there, but now you try and make an appointment for a cleaning or an issue and they want to schedule you 6 months out. It's really ridiculous.

Absolutely the worst experience I personally have ever had with a business practice. One of my front teeth was a crown and was lighter color than my other teeth. They said they could fix this and add Four new crowns to my front teeth for cosmetic reasons to enhance my smile. The day of the procedure while I was sitting in the chair they said I had only signed for three crowns. Well, I had to sign another form at a higher price to get what was originally told to me, four crowns. The result of this change made my original tooth that was a crown now be a darker color that my other teeth. They said they would replace it again and special order a different material of crown. Also to grid down more of my natural tooth. I did not want to go through this non-pleasant procedure again. I also had concerns of this becoming a problem in the future with having more of my natural tooth removed. They told me they would just refund that tooth and send a check in the mail in 2-3 weeks. When I received my bill it was an additional $100 from the second form I had signed, which was then credited when I brought that to their attention. The 2-3 weeks went by and I still did not receive the promised check for the one tooth they were going to replace, but instead refund. I called the front desk and the staff said they would let the manager know and a manager would contact me. Another few weeks went by, no check. I called again and same response. Another week went by and now I received something from O'Fallon Modern Dentistry. It is was another bill and it was for the same cost of what they told to me that would be refunded. I called again and no manager could talk to me. I then went into the office and a manager/supervisor was there at that time, but would not speak to me and call me at later date after they review what happened. I filed a claim complaint regarding O'Fallon Modern Dentistry to my insurance company. After this complaint was filed my new bill I received from the mail was magically removed off my statement on the MyCharts website. To this day a manager/supervisor has not contacted me nor I have received the promised check in the mail. I strongly recommend choosing a different dentist.

I used to go to this place for 5 years. now they make you pay $100 deposit to make an appointment most of the staff are nice but they will make you wait endlessly for you to see them and will put you on hold multiple times. I missed an appointment and had to reschedule and they charged me $100 even after they told me they would use the $100 deposit for my next visit's deposit. When trying to reschedule the next appointment with them they then asked for half of the payment upfront! Thats absurd! Me and my family will never use this dentist again. They used to be a good dentist but now all they want is money and my time. I would not suggest using them as they don't know what is going on most of the time

Pretty horrible experiences here. Would rather not have to give a one-star review however between them never answering their phone, poor attitudes from front desk staff, unanswered billing questions for months since they are unable to submit a claim to an insurance company properly, and don't even think about being able to talk to their team about it- my true regret is that I can't give them a zero star. Save yourself the trouble or learn the hard way.

I waited six months to write this review. I was a client here for 18 months and a total of three visits, all regular cleanings. They managed to fit me as I was changing employment and about to lose insurance. Thanks for that! That's worth a shiny gold star! In addition to that the first two visits were fine and dandy so add another gold star to that tally! By the third visit you usually start to get to know the staff at the places you frequent but it seemed as though the staff was always changing. Never the same hygienist and it seemed even the front desk personnel were different. High turnover seemed to be an issue here. It may have something to do with the large disagreeable lady in the back who is constantly squawking at the employees. Yep, people in the waiting room can hear everything you say lady, and you say ALOT! Nobody there seems too happy. Anywho, I got called in the back and after about 3 minutes polish and a few more minutes of prodding I am told I have periodontal disease, will now have to go to the dentist 4 times per year and will have to pay $XXXX.xx out of pocket. This seemed odd as I have never really had any issues with my teeth or gums. Two small cavities are all I have ever had. I inquired about the rest of the cleaning for that appointment and was told that would be taken care of on my next visit and have a nice day. Any other questions were brushed off and I was rushed out the door. Including the wait I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes. That's great for pizza but this is the dentist. How can anyone do a proper teeth cleaning in less than 5 minutes? I decided to get a second opinion. Turns out I do have minor periodontal disease and could use a could deep cleaning. They were telling the truth, but because it felt like a scam I waited 6 months and went with a different dentist. That dentist ended up being much cheaper as well but it was never about the money. I should have read reviews first. Guessing this place is corporate owned patient mill so use at your own risk. If your still reading this you must REALLY care about your choice of dentist.

I am giving them 1 for my initial visit. That's the visit where I was asked by them to do them a solid and start off working with one orthodontist and finish up with a second one since they apparently cannot keep an orthodontist on staff. I showed up today for an appointment that I thought was 11am. Apparently I was mistaken, because the lady at the desk formed me it was at 10:30 and she would see if he could still see me. She returned and said he could not and wanted to reschedule me for March 24, I told them that was unacceptable and I'd find somewhere else because I'd been waiting a long time for this appointment. You would think they'd be a bit compassionate about having to drive in this weather to be there in the first place, but to fill my spot and turn me away without even a reminder call or message prior is ridiculous. I guess I should've seen the red flag when the original orthodontist said he was a "fill in" and not permanent there. Will not go back to this place.
