After receiving an undergraduate degree in Microbiology from The University of Georgia, he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1986 from Emory University. He served five years as Clinical Instructor for Emory's Department of General Practice Residency for Post Graduate Dentistry and opened his own practice in1989.
Dr. O'Donnell embraces ongoing training for himself and his staff, and he promotes a patient-focused commitment to optimal oral health care, for all ages. A strong believer in community service, he stays very active in a number of professional associations and volunteer organizations.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr.O'Donnell enjoys time with his family at their home in Milton. Traveling and golf are some favorite pastimes, and it's not uncommon to find him in the North Carolina mountains on theweekends.
Dr.O'Donnell has been married to his wife Cheryl since 1996; they are active members of St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Roswell. They are proud parents of their two daughters, Kathleen Elisabeth and Ryan Kerry, who are currently attending the University of Georgia.
The thing I like most about being a dentist is the relationship that I have with my patients I've had patients that brought their children, and now their children are grown and married and are bringing their children The relationships that we build with those families is what's most important tome.

While I may be a fairly new part of our team, I've known Dr.O'Donnell for more than 30 years, having worked as his dental assistant right after he graduated from Emory University's dental school. Working together again after so much time has passed has been rewarding for me. We work very well together, and I know he's an excellent dentist because I see the results firsthand every day.

I've been going to Dr. O'Donnell for probably 30 years. I moved to Norcross in 2006 and considered trying to find somebody closer, but I just don't think I can improve on the quality of care, customer service, and genuine friendliness I receive from every single person in the office.

On a scale of 1 to 5, Dr. O'Donnell and his entire staff get a solid 10! The hygienists, Adrienne and Michelle and Dr. O'Donnell's assistant, Jennifer, and the front office with Michelle could not be any nicer or more competent. If need to see a dentist, go here. If you're already seeing a dentist, quit and go here. You will never forget it.

Robert, the dentist, explained clearly ever part of the procedure to help me feel comfortable. His assistant was amazing with the least intrusive water and air tube ever. Located in a place that looks and feels like a small home.

It was wonderful to meet everyone at your beautiful office and experience the family type caring practice. Michelle, Angela and Doctor Bob were terrific and Cheryl, who we meet in the parking lot, was very welcoming. So from beginning to end the visit to "the dentist" was great, thank you all.
