Prior to entering practice in the Yakima Valley Dr. Nate OConnor had the benefit of an exceptional educational and training background. Dr. Nate received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He continued his training with advanced post-graduate studies in a general practice residency with an emphasis on dentures, implants, and oral surgery through the Veteran Affairs Hospital Long Beach/University of California Irvine. Upon completion of his residency he returned to his hometown of Yakima, joining his father in 2006.
Dr. Nate pursues ongoing education and training, staying informed of the latest techniques in the field. In addition he is an active member of several highly regarded professional organizations, including the Yakima Valley Prosthodontic Society, Washington State Dental Association and the American Dental Association . He has served as an officer of the Yakima Valley Dental Society. He has participated in various service projects such as Husky Smiles and Childrens Sealant Day.

Gentle injection techniques and warm water for cleaning help to eliminate cold sensitivity. pleased I have been going to O'Connor's Dentistry for at least 30 years. I have always been pleased with their work. They are friendly, thorough, and very professional. I would recommend their office to anyone.

Dr. O'Connor has been my dentist for 13 years since I moved to Yakima. I feel quite lucky to have picked his office. I develop dark stains on my teeth though I don't typically drink coffee tea or cola. Hygienist Hannah has done an extremely good job of removing the stains at every visit. She also has taken the time to educate me on that and other things like plaque and tartar. She is always on time but but seems to be able to take enough time to do a great job. Dr O'Connor is a very friendly dentist who is motivated to do the best for every patient even if that means just being patient and watching instead of cutting into a good tooth to make his house payment. He does a very good medical and dental screening including for potential cancers. This gives me a sense of confidence. I really like the setting of his office on the edge of the golf course. It is a very pleasant place to spend some time twice a year. Yes I definitely recommend him to my friends and to anyone needing a good dental office.

I was apprehensive about my 3 hr appointment with Dr. O Connor to get bridge work done involving my front teeth. He was very conscientious that I was comfortable and without pain. I got a good looking temporary bridge and happy with the fit. I will recommend Dr O Connor to others. Thank you Thank you again, Sharon. My first time with Dr O'Connor. He is friendly and made me feel comfortable. I had my teeth cleaned and hygienist was gentle and thorough. Staff was friendly and professional. Found my new dentist.

Since Dr. O'Connor took over the practice of my former dentist I didn't know what to expect - I'd been with the other dentist since 1984. I met the nicest, friendliest group of people at O'Connor Dental and am very happy there, everyone made me feel welcome and very comfortable. Thank you Dr. O'Connor, Karen 1 and 2, Josie, Maria and the other ladies I passed in the hallway who spoke to me and greeted me. I am happy to have become a patient of this clinic and will see them all again when my next appointment comes up.

Dr O'Connor said staff are filling Dr. Carberys shoe's just fine. After being Dr Carberys patient for over 40 years I didn't think I would never have the same great service like I did with Oasis Dental, Never say Never!

I had seen Dr. Carbery for over 30 years and was saddened when I had to find a new dentist. But Dr. O'Connor and his staff made the transition to a new practice very pleasurable. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. O'Connor was very thorough and personable and made me feel very comfortable. I have no doubt I am in good hands!
