Dr. Donaghey joined the O'Brien Dental team in Feburary 2013. He spent the early years of his life in Mobile, AL. Son of an orthodontist, Dr. Jimmy Donaghey, his interest and involvement in the dental profession began at an early age. During his college years, Dr. Donaghey spent his summers performing lab and clinical procedures at his father's office. He completed his undergraduate studies at Auburn University, earning a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and graduating with Cum Laude honors. Dr. Donaghey went on to complete his dental education at UAB School of Dentistry. His wife, Brittney, and his three children, Mila, Rhett, and Sam can occasionally be seen at the office when they bring him lunch and try to redecorate his office with crayons and sidewalk chalk.
Dr. Donaghey has a passion for providing care to the under-served. Through his involvement in Christian Medical Ministries of Alabama, Dr. Donaghey has participated in mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica, providing dental treatment to people who can't afford or do not have access to care. During his senior year of dental school, Dr. Donaghey worked at the Franklin Primary Health Center, Mobile Health Department, and the Christ Health Center, donating treatment to poverty level patients. While living in Decatur, Dr. Donaghey served at the Community Fee Clinic of Morgan county providing care to patients in poverty.

Put it this way, if I move out of town I will still come back to Innovation Family Dental. I have been coming here since 2010 or a little before that. Everyone in the staff is polite and knowledgeable. Dr. Donaghey and Dr. Ford are the best. I never feel a thing. The dental hygienist are all amazing and super talented. Make an appointment today!!!

Exceptional service. I broke a tooth and they were able to get me in within 24 hours. Dr. Ford was very clear with what they were going to do and before I walked in I had a rough estimate of the pricing. Cannot say good enough things about this practice.

Hannah did a great job cleaning my teeth and encourage me how I can do better job of cleaning my teeth. Dr. D check the tooth extraction he did And consulted with me how to move forward with an implant. My wife and I are extremely pleased with his dental practice.

Traci cleaned my teeth on this visit. She was very efficient, very friendly, very much concerned about me as a person. She did a wonderful job and I appreciate her knowledge and ability to help me maintain and care for my teeth. I first visited O'Brien Dental in 2012 hoping they could help me have a pretty smile for my granddaughters' wedding. I not only have a beautiful smile now but I have found Dr. O'Brien to be a friend, and I claim him and his staff as part of my family. He and they are wonderful and I am blessed to have them in my life.

In the past year I have had extensive dental work performed at Innovation, by Dr. Ford. I highly recommend this dentistry. They have taken every measure to quickly accommodate me whether I need work to relieve pain or just a quick adjustment. Everyone is kind and makes me feel like my comfort is important. Coming here has been the best dental experience I've had thus far.
